"Great character"
Probably.
The dog =)))
Many...
I loved how both the author and the narrator developed the character - the proud and independent dog (a thinker and a racer at heart) who is at the same time just a dog that wants love and can get jealous. I usually don't like books that threaten to have a sad endings, but this ending was not sad, but very hopeful.
"Sooooo lame!!!"
Well, how about EVERYTHING!
Definitely
I noticed many people blamed the narrator for how bad this audio was, but I don't think it's Becca's fault she had to narrate a really trashy book. I actually think she made it better by truthfully portraying the character, who is constantly saying "Oh my!", gasping, blushing and slurping someone else's toothbrushes (seriously? can you be more disgusting?)
EVERYONE
I don't think I will be able to finish this one. What a waste of a good credit! I wish audible returned credits for really lame books.
I don't understand why anyone even talks about this book. Shows that few people understand what a good book is. This one is so sausy and PREDICTABLE! Haven't they written a million of books about wealthy young men with mental problems and poor girls under their wings?
"Very good listen"
I liked how well the time (after WWII) was described.
At first I thought this book will be something silly, probably because it is narrated from the point of view of a teenage girl, but as I listened I got into it. An addictive book.
"Hilarious"
I found this audio just at the same time when we had a problem in our family with a child who doesn't want to go to sleep on time. So this audio really reflected my feelings at that time =))) And my husband and I got a great laugh out of it.
"Feels like a waste of money"
I think whoever compiled these into an audio didn't really listen through it. As far as I understand these comic episodes come from a video, so there are moments when without a visual picture it is impossible to understand what's going on. There were moments when I just heard laughter of the audience and wished I could see what the comedian was doing. It seems kind of damb to me that they'd put such episodes on an audio too. why not cut such parts out? Like they didn't care. Without the visual picture some parts are not worth listening to it.
"Great listen"
I'd like to find more audios like this. This was really enjoying and fun. Good jokes for any kind of audience, even for kids.
"This was great for my studies"
I got it 2 weeks before an exam in Introduction to Psychology, and many of the things mentioned in the book were on the exam. It really helped me. Though I would recomment that one listens to it carefully, because it is a lot of information, and I had to listen to some chapters several times to memorize everything. The female voice was very pleasant too.
