I loved this book. It's a great story, and though for "young adults" it speaks to both adults and younger people. It's a lovely story, with great narration. Hard to believe it was written when it was. Heinlein shows a great understanding for the universe as always.
I always love reading Elizabeth Peters, but the audiobook version is far better. Her stories are very imaginative and the narraration never fails to give me a great mental picture.
This story is also a great beginning of a great story. I always enjoy the descriptions of Victorian life and love the narrarator, Amelia Peabody, who is a wonderful personality.
Barbara Rosenblatt is an excellent voice for this story as well. Her vocal changes are interesting and distinct - a difficulty in this story with many voices from different ethnicities.
