I'm a big fan of the Troubleshooter's Series. My favorite characters are Izzy and Jules. Finally, finally Izzy gets a happy ending!! This is a true Brockmann story. If you liked the others you will love this one.
Brockmann has been using Lawlor & Raudman in quite a few of her books and they did their usual fantastic job here.

Can't get enough of this series. Kade the kingmaker is not having a good time. In order to win back his brother's kingdom, which he lost, he has to turn over his fated female to an evil sorcerer. At first he couldn't have Holly Ashwin because she was human, the one race that is forbidden to him. Now she is "the vessell" for this accession. Holly Ashwin is half valkerie, has a raging case of OCD, and is in complete denial of who and what she is. It's a great adventure.
Petkoff does a great job with the narration.

    Story

More of the same great series from Kresley Cole. We meet a new Wroth brother. Conrad Wroth is the baddest of the Wroth brothers, and he has the mental and physical scars to show for it. He has drank blood from the source for so long that the memories are making him very unstable. His brothers trap and hold him prisoner to "dry him out" so to speak. The house they have purchased to keep him in is haunted by Naomi Laress, a famous ballerina from the 20's who was murdered in the house.
Not only do we get their story, but the other back stories are still going on and we don't loose touch with other characters we got attached to in other books.
Petkoff does an excellent job with the narration.
Once again I will give this a "for adults" only rating.

I love this series. I write this review having listened to almost the whole thing. In this first installment you meet Emmaline a half valkerie half vampire who is the fated mate of the king of the Lykae. Lachlain MacRieve is that king. He has been the prisoner of the Vampire Horde and chained and burned to death only to be brought back again and again for 150 years. Imagine his reaction to finding out his fated mate is vampire?

Since half-vampire Cat Crawfield and her undead lover Bones met six years ago, they’ve fought against the rogue undead, battled a vengeful Master vampire, and pledged their devotion with a blood bond. Now it’s time for a vacation. But their hopes for a perfect Paris holiday are dashed when Cat awakes one night in terror. She’s having visions of a vampire named Gregor, who’s more powerful than Bones and has ties to her past that even Cat herself didn’t know about.

In this installment of Cat and Bones' life things get really interesting. Seems there was another vampire in Cat's life before Bones. Worse yet, Mencheres knew it. Cat has alot to face in this book, her prejudices against vampires that she is still carrying around, her fear that Bones really isn't in it for the long run, and her humanity. Frost really outdid herself with this book, you are in for a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I will give this my usual for adults only rating, excellent for the narration, and worth the cash or credit.

    Story

This is a story set in the world as the"Nighthuntress World". If you listened to any other of Frost's books you will recognize these characters immediately. I recommend that if you haven't you go back and listen to her other books first. It will help you to understand the back story and enjoy the characters more. Denise is Cat's best friend and she's being stalked by a demon. She is afraid to call on Cat because she turned her back on all things supernatural when her husband Randy was killed in a supernatural attack at Cat and Bones house. Now she's in trouble, she calls on Spade. Spade is one of Bones' best friends, and he feels drawn to Denise, has since he first laid eyes on her. Now he has set quite the task for himself, helping Denise find a family member who made a deal with the devil and then welched on it. If they don't produce him then the demon will kill every member of Denise's family.
I love Frost's books, her characters are wonderful. I won't go on and on because hopefully you've already listened to several and have the same opinion. I will give my usual for adults only rating, excellent narration, and worth the cash or credit.

Worth the cash or credit. Gilbert does an excellent job with the narration.

Dr. Melanie Lipton is no stranger to the supernatural. She knows immortals better than they know themselves, right down to their stubborn little genes. So although a handsome rogue immortal seems suspicious to her colleagues, Sebastien Newcombe intrigues Melanie. His history is checkered, his scars are impressive, and his ideas are daring. But it's not his ideas that have Melanie fighting off surges of desire.... Bastien is used to being the bad guy. In fact, he can't remember the last time he had an ally he could trust. I love this series. If you have any questions about it check out my other reviews. I've listened to all of the series and loved every minute.
In this story Bastien, the bad guy from book one, an Immortal who thought he was a vampire is trying to help keep a few of his men from book one from going insane from the vampire virus. Bastien has a lot of issues, he doesn't feel like he fits in with the other Immortals, there's too much rivalry from his past for the comfort of the others. However, Dr. Melanie Lipton sees through his brash attitude to the sensitive man underneath the bluster. Bastien fights his attraction to Melanie but she won't have it. Their story is really sweet. There's plenty of stuff going on with the other characters as well. You will want to listen to it all at once.
I recommend this for adults only. Worth the cash or credit.

I love this series! If you have questions about it, go through and read my reviews on all four books. Others compare it to Black Dagger Brotherhood, but don't be fooled. Duvall has set up her universe all on her own without borrowing from anybody else. Others call it a vampire story and that's an ok analogy, but these are Immortals, they eat, drink, sleep, they do consume blood and are violently allergic to the sun, they have many, many, talents that we mere mortals only dream of.
In this installment Marcus's friends are worried about him because a woman he has loved from afar for most of his life is now completely lost to him. I won't give away all the details here. Seth decides that Marcus needs a new second and sends Amy to him. Amy was rescued in book one. Both characters are in need of healing and love and find it in each other. There's lots going on in these books and are easy to listen to all in one sitting. I recommend it for adults only due to sexual content. Potter is an excellent narrator. Worth the cash or credit.

I am writing this review almost a year after purchasing the book. I have listened to all four in the series and loved them all. Some have compared it to Black Dagger Brotherhood, but I do not. Duvall has created a completely original cast and plot. Her characters are diverse, compassionate, strong, and truly loveable.
In this first installment We meet Sara Bingham a college professor who ends up saving Roland from being tortured and beheaded by some very bad guys just behind her house. Roland is too hurt to get away before dawn and Sara takes care of him. Roland has been alone for a very long time and Sara's kindness just pulls him in. There's lots going on from the very beginning. The story is engaging from start to finish. There's plenty of romance without it being porn as another reviewer mentioned. It's a lovely story but for adults only. Potter is an excellent narrator. Worth the cash or credit to have in your library. I recommend you get them all.
