KARL MARSDEN DOESN'T LIKE HER DOING THE JOB ON HER OWN AND INVOLVES HIMSELF AFTER NOT SEEING HOPE FOR A YEAR. A YEAR AFTER HE SLEPT WITH HER AND THEN LEFT TO GO TO EUROPE. THERE'S LOTS OF ACTION IN THIS BOOK.

I really wish Jim Frangione had been the narrator. His "Vicious" really would have been the voice for this story. That's all I can add to any of the reviews that are already out there.

In this installment Sydney and Adrian work through their issues. Sydney is forced to face her desire to use magic and seriously begins to investigate what is really going on with the Alchemists. She meets Mark, a man who has escaped the Alchemists and has broken his tattoo. Jill & the others are doing their thing in the background also.

Robert Crais is an excellent writer. I've listened to his other books and have always enjoyed them. This is a stand alone novel. I am the mother of a Marine and one if the first characters you meet in this book is Maggie. She's a german shepard and a Marine. She and her handler are responsible for sniffing out IED's and apprehending suspects. They got my attention right away. Maggie is an excellent Marine and knows that you never leave anybody behind or desert your partner. You will also meet a police officer who is trying to recover from being shot and the loss of his partner. The two pair up and face their demons (PTSD) together. I loved this book. I recommend it to anyone 16 and older.

I just happened by the second book in this series and found it interesting. I went back and found this one and downloaded it just for fun. I was very happy with the story and the narration. If you are a Sookie Stackhouse Fan you will either love the narration or find it a little weird. Parker is a great narrator.

IN THIS BOOK WE GET TO SPEND TIME WITH JAMIE VEGAS. JAMIE IS A NECROMANCER, SHE TALKS TO THE DEAD. JAMIE HAS BEEN ATTRACTED TO THE ILLUSIVE JEREMY DANVERS FOR YEARS. NOW SHE HAS INVITED HIM TO COME SPEND SOME TIME WITH HER ON SET WHERE SHE IS FILMING A TV SPECIAL.
AS USUAL SHE GETS ABDUCTED A COUPLE TIMES. THINGS FINALLY HEAT UP BETWEEN JAMIE AND JEREMY.
GREAT BOOK FOR ADULTS WHO LOVE THE SUPERNATURAL.

IN THIS BOOK WE ARE BACK WITH THE PACK. ELENA IS STRUGGLING WITH BEING PREGNANT AND BEING TREATED LIKE GLASS. THEY ALL GET MIXED UP WITH A JACK THE RIPPER LETTER THAT CONTAINS A PORTAL AND BRINGS ABOUT ALL KINDS OF MAYHEM.
GREAT SERIES FOR ADULTS WHO LOVE THE SUPERNATURAL.

IN THIS BOOK PAIGE GETS TO MEET THE CORTEZ FAMILY. LUCAS' DAD COMES TO PORTLAND TO TALK THEM INTO TAKING ON A CASE THAT THE CABAL DOESN'T WANT TO SPEND THE TIME AND MONEY ON. AT FIRST SHE DOESN'T WANT TO DO IT UNTIL IT HITS TOO CLOSE TO HOME.
AS IN MY PREVIOUS REVIEWS, THIS IS A GREAT SERIES AND I RECOMMEND YOU LISTEN TO THEM IN ORDER.

BROCKMANN IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS, I AM ESPECIALLY FOND OF THIS SERIES. LAWLOR & RAUDMAN ARE EXCELLENT NARRATORS.
DARK OF NIGHT WEAVES A TALE OF INTRIGUE. YOU GET A BIG DOSE OF SOME MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS IN THE SERIES.

IN DIME STORE MAGIC YOU GET TO KNOW PAIGE WINTERBOURNE A LITTTLE BETTER. IN THIS BOOK SHE HAS TAKEN SAVANNAH LEVINE AS HER WARD AND ENDS UP FIGHTING SAVANNAH'S DAD, KRISTOPH NASH, FOR CUSTODY. YOU ALSO MEET LUCAS CORTEZ, HEIR TO THE CORTEZ CABAL THRONE.
AS I HAVE SAID IN MY OTHER REVIEW THIS IS A GREAT SERIES FOR ADULTS WHO LOVE THE SUPERNATURAL. THE CHARACTERS ARE BELIEVABLE AND LIKABLE. THE CONTENT IS FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY.
