Theodore Boone is back in a new adventure, and the stakes are higher than ever.... When his best friend, April, disappears from her bedroom in the middle of the night, no one, not even Theo Boone - who knows April better than anyone - has answers. As fear ripples through his small hometown and the police hit dead ends, it's up to Theo to use his legal knowledge and investigative skills to chase down the truth and save April.

Would you listen to Theodore Boone: The Abduction again? Why?

This is an interesting book, and I would listen to it again. I often listen the second time while traveling in my car; and even if some of the story is missed because of distractions, it isn't necessary to back it up to follow the continued action.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Theodore Boone is the star of this series and is my favorite character because of his attention to detail and procedural knowledge of the law.

Have you listened to any of Richard Thomas’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Richard Thomas does a good job narrating the story and placing emphasis where needed. He has a well modulated voice and a steady reading/telling pace. I listen to all audio books at 1.5 speed - and don't miss a word of his messages - he doesn't sound like Donald Duck at that speed. I would listen to him again - he is an asset to your organization.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Theodore is an in-charge character, and some of his sound judgments are indeed amusing.

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

If you could sum up The Hunger Games in three words, what would they be?

    Plausible story line.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Hunger Games?

This story is so rare and exciting that it can't be classified with only one memorable moment, but the

What does Carolyn McCormick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Clear concise voice, using inflection and excitement where due! With the right reader, some stories can be listened to at 1.5 times(speed) without distortion. Her voice and style is one of those. With this story, it makes the story more urgent and exciting - try it, you'll like it.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This is an exciting story with many poignant instances that elicits empathy, and at times a welled eye.

    Any additional comments?

My Review for NETFLIX. *1)There is an area of land that was once called North America. That area now consists of the CAPITOL ruling area, PANEM, with 12 outlying Districts. The Districts are kept segregated, given numbers, not names, and can't talk to each other – no unity for ease of hard-line control. *2)To further control and prove subservience Each District is forced to provide One Girl, and One Boy, ages 12 – 18, to fight each other until death, with one to survive, in the televised Annual Hunger Games. The persons are selected by lottery and are called TRIBUTES. The Games are
