I love Marianne Williamson and whenever I start to feel a little lost in life, I find something from her to read or listen to. Works like a charm every time. Her lessons are simple and a gentle reminder to be good to ourselves and to each other. This particular download is a series of lectures on relationships and sheds light on how to get over the anger, frustration and bitterness sometimes associated with family relationships.
Important, harrowing story
I put off listening to this book for years, thinking, "Oh! It is just so long and what if it's boring?" It was anything but boring. This is an amazing book, written so well. I could taste, see, feel what it was like for the men who were captured.
Important historical insight
Red River, Cane River and The Help because they all provide insight into the time in America where there were slaves. In my opinion, these books show, with brutal honesty the thoughts and feelings of both the slave and the master and how much difference one person can make.
Sarah Grimke- she seemed very real to me.
When Sarah Grimke comes home to find Hetty in her bathtub and the two find a way to keep the secret from the rest of the family. It was very poignant for me, the push and pull of emotions and the ability of a young woman to be amazingly brave.
This is a fantastic book for anyone who wants to know more about the resources available to them, if they just tune in and ask. It is practical, straight forward advice on calling your spirit guides and connecting with the highest energy possible.
The examples of what to say to call your angels and guides.
Sonia Choquette is a great author but also has a good voice. She is talking to me, not at me.
How to ask my guides to help me daily, to expect their help and it was a great reminder to pray throughout the day.

He has a soothing voice.
This is a great audiobook for people, like me, who enjoy guided meditations. The music and his voice combine to create a wonderful, peaceful meditation.
This is a great book. I approach some subjects like I did in school and when it comes to intuition and listening for your guides, Sonia Choquette is an amazing teacher.
The meditations at the end.
She is very real. She is talking to you, not reading. It makes a BIG difference.
Her personal experiences with trusting her intuition and where it led her in life.
This is a great book and I highly recommend it for anyone who grew up in a home that didn't foster this inner knowing.
It was a mother's perspective of what happened. It gives you a totally different viewpoint of what happened to Jesus.
The part where she is in the crowd at the crucifixtion of Jesus and must decide whether to stay or go for her own personal safety.
Her voice has such depth and she played the part of a grieving mother so well.
A Mother's Love
This is a wonderful, quick book well read by Merryl Streep. I loved it.
Powerful, important and insightful.
When Melba has a Sweet 16 party, something she has looked forward to for years and it does not turn out how she dreamed. Heartbreaking.
No, but I did like the narrator.
A story of survival against the cruelty of others.
I hope everyone reads this. It is an important part of US history. I have seen the photos of the Little Rock 9, but this brings the whole thing to life in painstaking detail.
Well told story of what it was like for Sara Tuvel and so many others during WWII. Sheds light on life and the horrific atrocities that were committed during that time.
The narration was wonderful and easy to listen to.
I have tried to read this book and just couldn't get through it, but the audio version is entertaining and keeps you riveted from start to finish.
Frank McCourt's narration is flawless and it was incredible to hear his own words in his own voice.
This is a book that really allows you to dive into his world, the colors, smells, taste of Ireland.
Brooke Shields does remarkable job at recounting her days dealing with post partum depression. This book was interesting and helped me deal with my own demons.
I believe it took incredible courage on her part to delve into the darkness and come out on the other side, an author, helping countless other women.
This story is compelling and inspiring.
