"A WINNER!"
As soon as I finished the first book in the Clifton Chronicles, the second was released. I was thrilled with the timing because I LOVED the first. Can't wait for the third to be written. I have not read Jeffrey Archer in many years, but intend to read all that I have missed.
"A Mystery of Interest"
The title fooled me at first. I greatlly enjoyed Timothy Dalton's narration. The story was a little difficult to get into at first, but once I did, I truly enjoyed the book. It took me a short time to figure out the characters and to put everything into place. I do recommend this book .
"A Horrific Story of China's History"
I loved Janet Song's narration. She did an excellent job and that is what made me want to listen and continue with the book. This book was not as good as the one before it, Shanghai Girls. I found it to be rather depressing and hard to believe at times. If you have read the first, than by all means read this one.
"Frightening Reality"
Remembering the headlines and story of Russian spies living among us just a few years ago made this a very interesting and exciting story. My interest and curiousity were maintained throughout the book. I especially enjoyed the narrator. He did an excellent job.
"Many Enjoyable Listening Hours"
I greatly enjoyed every listening minute of this novel. It held my fascination and I was unhappy when it ended.
