"A wonderful book"
I first tried to read this book in high school and couldn't get through it. Now, in my mid-thirties, Hemingway's pace seems right.
It is a very strong story - and as a parent, it is not always an easy ride.
Highly recommended.
"A must read for anyone who jogs but hates it"
Always thought of running as a chore. This great book changed that. A wonderful combination of a good story and important information.
"Rowling is a great storyteller"
Maybe in an attempt to distance herself from our favorite child wizard, the story has a very real, somewhat depressing tone to it.
Rowling reminds us how "unmagical" can people get - the characters of this book are selfish, small, insecure and misunderstood. I believed her, and gulped down this book in a heartbeat.
Highly recommended.
"an important book"
I am not an American citizen, but I think that this book is a mandatory read for people going to vote at the end of this year. It is a wonderful opportunity to get into the head of who just might be the next leader of the free world.
"Terrible sound quality"
I can't say anything about the book itself. The sound is so bad that I gave it up after a few minutes.
"a good read"
It's a good book, not without its share of demagogy. But, considering the fact that almost all economy education these days is using the rhetoric that this book combatants, it gives some very good points for thought.
For those interested in economy and public policy - give it a go. For the internationals, take into account that it is very U.S focused.
