Emma Gavin writes best-selling novels about werewolves, but that doesn't mean she believes in them-and she certainly doesn't think she'll meet one. But that's exactly what happens when her books catch the attention of a rich and powerful pack of Manhattan Weres who have kept their existence hidden for centuries. Alarmed by the accuracy of her novels, they're determined to find out if a renegade is acting as her informant.

Yes. I love to read a book that ends up with an Alpha giving in to the unavoidable.

What about Abby Craden’s performance did you like?

I liked how she made the characters distinguishable. I knew when one ended and another began.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole book captivated me and made me look forward to the next book in the series.

As the war with the Lessening Society rages on, and the threat from the Band of Bastards truly hits home, he is forced to make choices that put everything - and everyone - at risk. Would you listen to The King again? Why?

1000 times YES!!!!! Ms. Ward has outdone herself!!! I measure my time based on her release dates! I have listened to all her books several times and expect to in the future.

Who was your favorite character and why?

There are too many characters to name my favorite, but I'd say Zsadist. His story was the most touching and hardest to get through. The King was astounding!!

    Which scene was your favorite?

Spoiler Alert--The scene with Wrath and his child! Tear!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

From Lassiter's crude jokes to Wrath's love, all my emotions made an appearance while reading this book.

    Any additional comments?

Highly Recommend!!!! Take a chance on the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series!!!

    Story

Merry Gentry pretends to be human. She moved to Los Angeles and began working as a private investigator at Grey's Detective Agency. But all of this is just a disguise; in fact she is a princess of faerie, her real name is Meredith Nic Essus, and she had to flee the Dark Court of Faerie because of attempts on her life. In order to inherit her rightful crown, Merry needed to conceive an heir, a notoriously difficult task for the slow-reproducing Fey. In the 2009 novel Divine Misdemeanors, Merry had finally achieved that goal - and fans have been kept waiting all this time to find out what happens!

And he wants to go even deeper into the vampire world-to engage in the turf war with the lessers. His heart belongs to a female vampire, Marissa, an aristocratic beauty who's way out of his league. And if he can't have her, then at least he can fight side by side with the Brothers.
