"Entertaining and a different kind of "Hero""
Gud listen . . too many location changes for me and can't always keep the character names straight. . . but then I am getting old and senile. Definitely worth the price.
"Finder scores a winner!!!"
Best Joseph Finder book to date! Good plot, even unique in spots, great character development, good reading by Edoardo Ballerini . . .wunder why I haven't listened to him before.
Don't miss out on a good one. Buy this one and prepare to enjoy.
"A Good Sequel"
Good continuity with first book, somewhat ponderous, but a good and interesting listen. I question the need for so much to be made of the "COPPA RING" Look 4 ward to the next follow on.
"Great Yarn"
Good performance, interesting plot, believable characters and good translation
Similar in feel to Nebo and Harry Hole but different enough to hold my interest.
Dick Hill as usual makes the story live a little and I liked that
No one should regret spending the money on this one
"The Cold Cold Ground is HOT"
Great read by a good narrator, good character development, interesting plot and deals with a subject I know little about.
Felt justified in buying this title by a new author that entranced me!
"I dunno bout this one"
Seemed convulted and hard to follow . . . didn't seem to be cohesive in spots. . . did enjoy a lot of it though
"A good surprise from Nora Roberts"
Have listened to a lot of J D R obb and enjoyed but this was the first of the Nora Roberts books I have listened to. Enjoyed as much or maybe more than JDR.
Did get caught up in the story and was "involved" before I knew it.
Nice yarn
"Most enjoyable Mitch Rabb yet"
Liked the story, the locale in which it was told and the intrique within the CIA.
Enjoyed the sequence of events leading to the solution of the problem
Believable characters in a believable scenario!
Good ending.
"Ambitious Undertaking and extremely provocative"
This is my first experience with a translated Japanese author and I think I was overwhelmed. Plot lines good, descriptive, good introduction to a mysterious culture and narrators excellent.
Took me some time to get into it but then couldn't put it down. This author developed his characters in a rewarding way and wish more US authors would do like wise. Lengthy and verbose in places, perhaps necessary, but did not detract and continued to hold my interest.
This will not be my last listen from Haruki Murakami
This offering is certainly worth the price and the investment in time. Trust me . . . read or listen to it.
"Stellar Huston !"
Good to listen to Huston as he changes genre to the Court room. Held my interest thruoghout.
Having been in and around "black ops" over my last 60 years and having held the "Presidential Access" on my security clearance I can honestly say that the plot could happen. Good courtroom dialogs. Well worth the price.
