"Great story"
I have not finished the book yet, but I have to tell you...I live in Miami, and the pronunciation of some of the areas in Miami is horrendous... It's Brickell Ave, not BRICK-EL! Come On- Man!
I can't stand the obnoxious laugh of the doctor. Even with this, it is one of the best books I have listened to in a long time. I do not want it to end.
Nestor... so real
He would be great if he learned how to pronounce the names of some of the most famous areas in Miami... It's Brickell, not BRICK - EL, and the annoying laugh of the Doctor.
so far, all of them
"Enjoyed, but too descriptive"
The narration in the New Orleans accent made this book special. It's a good story, but too much description of New Orleans and and the environs. too many words, get to the point, tell the story! Not interested in all the flowers, trees, sky...Enuf is enuf.
Robicheaux.. He is sensitive, compassionate and the kind of character you get to like.
The way they speak in N.O. All of the characters had a special voice and way of talking, it made me feel like I was there with them.
NO
"Bossypants"
Very disappointed.. Tina Fey is one of my favorites performers, but her narrative is too "cute".
She has so many interesting things to tell us but she rushes through, you would think she is in a hurry to finish reading the book.
