    Daniel McEvoy has a problem. Well, really, he has several, but for this Irish ex-pat bouncer at a seedy, small-time casino, the fact that his girlfriend was just murdered in the parking lot is uppermost in his mind. Suddenly, Daniel’s got half the New Jersey mob, dirty cops, and his man-crazy upstairs neighbor after him, and he still doesn't know what's going on.

    When I heard that Stephen King was tackling the JFK assassination, I could not wait for the book's release. It did not quite match my expectations, but then again my expectations for Stephen King are quite high. The story and character development were great and, as always, you care about the characters he creates. I take off one star only for the ending. There may have been no good way to bring the story to a close, but the unexplained mystical time streams were confusing and did not do justice to the rest of the book. That said, it's Stephen King, and there isn't a better way to spend a credit.
