    Though I purchased the book at the same time the movie was in theaters, I profoundly enjoyed listening to it. I was surprised by the ending and felt a sense of loss for one of the main characters. I would recommnend this book to anyone.

    This book had me at "prologue". It starts off right away teasing you with a mystery that has gone on for years. I was surprised to see how the story lines mingled with each other and at many times was wrong in my assumptions in this strange who-done-it book. I was happy to learn that the second book in the series, The Girl who played with Fire, is being recorded and look forward to listening to that one.

    The book was very good but where's the ending? The author leaves you wanting more and feeling disappointed. The book has a good flow and a nice mix of past and present. You are drawn into liking the main character so much that the books leaves you wanting to find out more.
