Her best friend hisselpenny got intolerably dumb and the sister was annoying.
Wierd but the ending, I thought it was the most emotional and best written.
The plot was just weaker then the rest and the characters too dumb. I still enjoyed the book.
Lois bujold books read by grove Gardner were my first great find on audible. Love the vor series and it's character focused development instead of a science fiction focus.
The lead actually having a clue, she stumbles along and wouldn't have solved it the answer hadn't come looking for her.
Yes but won't buy more if is is series.
Learned a lot about coffee
Cheesy like classic Dr Who episodes. A brain in an exosuit, pet giant centipede, bird body guard.
No, I don't believe I have.
I enjoyed it well enough, but would ask a friend to buy unless it was a daily deal. The characters didn't grow through the whole book. The lead was kind of dislikable and author relied on falling objects too much in the beginning.
The premise was the most interesting
Yes his voice was a little nasal but character were easy to tell apart.
Maybe a TV movie or mini-series
It was a fun ride just wish lead zombie would have more clearly grown.
So far no this book serves as an intro to the world and characters. It left me wanting to know more about them but the under lying story isn't complex or worth a 2nd listen to me right now
The villain was flat and predictable. The main cast was interesting but incomplete lots left for future. I hope the rest of the series pays off.
I like the scenes with the thief. The voice acting and dialog are fun.
Wished the book was better able to stand on its own but really feels like it is a setup for more books.
I have read many of the Discworld books and really enjoyed them. I purchase the audio book for my boyfriend and son to enjoy a on long car trip, the reading is ok but the narrator has a nasal quility I didn't like and I have to agree with my boyfriend that listening to it makes you sleepy.
I had read two of Lois McMaster Bujold books over the years but nothing containing Miles himself. I have really enjoyed these audio books they make the miles fly. I found the narator easy to listen to, he changed for each character but not to such an extreme as to be unplesant to listen to. The reading was nice and smooth, without putting you to sleep.
