Yes. Awesome story, great reader. Starts a little slow, but then you can't stop. Best audiobook reader I have found - and I have listend to about 300 books in the last few years. She can do both male and female characters, which is a rare talent. She is amazing at accents. She is very good at inflection and emotion.

The idea of time travel and the anomalies that occur in the present as a result of their visit to the past.

Gallowglass was awesome, I love the mental image I got of the character based on how the reader performed his dialogue. The only voice I didn't like was Rudolph, but then his character was supposed to be unlikeable.

Laughed at several points, witty dialogue. Cried when it was over, thinking how long I'm going to have to wait for the third book in the trilogy.

Yes. I enjoy reading print books, but there are just some books where the brilliance of the author combined with the talent of a fabulous narrator create a truly memorable audiobook. This was one of those books.

What didn't I like, that would be the shorter list. I realize this is fiction, but part of me believes this author is so careful about his research that I can safely assume there are noble and brave men and women like these characters out there keeping us safe.

Every time Mitch Rapp tells it like it is to a politician that needs an eye opener.

I love the scenes - in all the Mitch Rapp books - where you are reminded of all that Mitch has lost and sacrificed, so that you have to admire his commitment to what he does despite the personal cost.

Absolutely! The story was engaging, it was easy to connect with the characters (aren't we all wounded in some manner, yet hopeful that the right person will see past our inadequacies to love us and make us feel safe?), and the narrator was fabulous.

It made me remember what it was like, being fresh out of college, starting a grown up life yet still hanging onto the the insecurities of the past. Exciting yet scared, ready to try new things, yet holding on to the safety of old friends, parents, and self protective behavior. And let's be honest, the sex scenes were well written and hot.

No, but I sure hope they continue to use this narrator for the rest of this series. I will also seek out her other work. The narrator for FSOG was so bad, it made you wonder if she had ever had sex, herself, or even knew what sex was ... which totally ruined those books. (How the hell did all the many people involved in producing the Fifty Shades audiobooks screw that one up so completely?) But Jill Redfield manages to do both male and female voices, properly convey the right emotions and tones, has that husky after-sex tone in her voice I could only dream of emulating, never mispronounces a word ... Pretty darn close to as good as it gets!

"He was a man who wanted no complications with his sex, and she was a woman who found sex complicated ... But he wasn't giving up."

Wasn't that a great line in the book?

Don't listen to it while your are driving. Trust me on this one. It was an expensive distraction.

Written book, yes. Audiobook, no.

Let's be honest, the sex scenes are what we have all been reading this book for, followed closely by the giddy feeling of pretending we are this young woman being swept off her feet.

This woman knows nothing about expression, cadence, or which words to emphasize as she reads. Completely ruined the book. What idiot selected her and thought she had any talent for a book like this? She reads like she is expressing an eight year old girl, not a woman experiencing a sexual awakening.
