As we approach the most important presidential election in America’s history, something has been lost among all of the debates, attack ads, and super- PACs - something that Americans used to hold in very high regard: THE TRUTH. The truth can no longer be something we hope for; it must be something we live. When courage prevails, cowards do not - and this book was written to ensure that’s exactly what happens.

After having purchased Glenn's Arguing with Idiots I already knew to expect something that was as witty as it was timely...But Cowards went so far beyond my expectations!

For starters let me say that I really believe that this book picks up where Andrew Breitbart's Righteous Indignation left off. However, whereas Andrew's book provided a bird's eye view of the liberal media complex; Beck's book goes a step beyond...

He paints a picture (the 50,000 foot-down version) of the entire battlefield that you can expect to find yourself fighting on-if you're a conservative or a libertarian and Glenn holds no punches.

He doesn't stop with exposing liberals either, he also shines the light on moderate Republicans who stand in the way of protecting our nation's values.

In summary I don't think I've read an Audible title that kept me on the edge of my seat as much as this one did. Well done Mr. Beck!

Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey and Matt Kibbe have been on the front lines of one of the fastest-growing and most influential political phenomena in recent memory: the Tea Party movement. As the leaders of the advocacy organization FreedomWorks, they have helped guide and give voice to hundreds of thousands of activists from across the country and have a strong vision for the future of this powerful grassroots uprising.

I wish Audible allowed you to rate in one quarter increments because then this would have gotten a review of 3.75 from me.

Because while I found the presentation style a bit dry for my liking, this book more than makes up for it in substance. That's why anyone truly interested in the what, how's and why's of the Tea Party should definitely pick up this title.

  • Demonic: How the Liberal Mob Is Endangering America

The demon is a mob, and the mob is demonic. The Democratic Party activates mobs, depends on mobs, coddles mobs, publicizes and celebrate mobs - it is the mob. Sweeping in its scope and relentless in its argument, Demonic explains the peculiarities of liberals as standard groupthink behavior. To understand mobs is to understand liberals.

I'be been so thrilled with this purchase! Honestly, I don't know which impressed me more about thus title:

The fact that Coulter was able to thoroughly analyze and disect the liberal mob mentality in 5 hrs...

    - or -

The fact that she provided such a logical explanation of the left's apparent idiosyncracies.

Whatever the case, if you'be ever scratched your head after watching liberals do or say things that make no sense, this book is for you!

  • Righteous Indignation: Excuse Me While I Save the World

Known for his network of conservative websites that draws millions of readers everyday, Andrew Breitbart has one main goal: to make sure the "liberally biased" major news outlets in this country cover all aspects of a story fairly. Breitbart is convinced that too many national stories are slanted by the news media in an unfair way. In Righteous Indignation, Breitbart talks about the key issues that Americans face, how he has aligned himself with the Tea Party, and how one needs to deal with the liberal news world head on.

This is easily the most important political title that I've ever read. In fact Righteous Indignation is the standard that I measure all other conservative titles against.

Here's what makes this a masterpiece...Breitbart gets very personal in this book. Taking the reader from his liberal upbringing all the way up to the peak of his career as a conservative activist.

While he shares his epic journey he also manages to deliver a tested blueprint or manifesto, if you will, for defeating the left. And when I say the left...we're not just talking liberal politicians.

No...Breitbart's aim is to empower his readers to take down liberal culture - in its entirety. How can anyone top that? What's more, this isn't theory. Breitbart has already done it and you can too!

  • Rules for Radical Conservatives: Beating the Left at Its Own Game to Take Back America

The vast right wing conspiracy has found its General Patton, and his name is David Kahane. Kahane's pseudonymous, satiric column for National Review Online, lampooning the Left via his Hollywood-radical persona - Stephen Colbert's liberal doppelganger - is must-listening for political aficionados of all stripes. Now, from the inside, Kahane proudly exposes the secret and not-so-secret winning strategies (and vulnerabilities) of the Left.

I'll be honest it took me about one or two hours of listening to "Kahane" beat me over the head with his sharp wit and sarcasm before I was finally able to move beyond the snarkiness and "get it".

But once I did! This has got to be in my top five for 2012.

Kahane leaves not a stone unturned as he rips Alinsky politics apart point by point, showing conservatives how to beat the left at their own game without losing your integrity in the process.

  • Radicals: Portraits of a Destructive Passion

Radical liberals want to make America a better place, but their utopian social engineering leads, ironically, to greater human suffering. From Karl Marx to Barack Obama, Horowitz shows how the idealistic impulse to make the world a better place gives birth to the twin cultural pathologies of cynicism and nihilism and is the chief source of human suffering. A former liberal himself, Horowitz recounts his own brushes with radicalism and offers unparalleled insight into the disjointed ideology of liberal elites through case studies of well-known radial leftists, including Christopher Hitchens, feminist Bettina Aptheker, leftist academic Cornel West, and others.

While this book started off a bit slow, once you get past the first or second chapter you won't be able to put it down.

Absolutely loved the Cornel West chapter. But more than that Horowitz did a fantastic job of threading the needle between marxism and collegiate black studies, feminist studies and American studies courses.

In fact, the only reason I didn't give it an all around five is because of the slow beginning. But outside of that Radicals: Portraits of a Destructive Passion is a real winner!

  • Arguing with Idiots: How to Stop Small Minds and Big Government

Idiots can't be identified through voting records, they can be found only by looking for people who hide behind stereotypes, embrace partisanship, and believe that bumper-sticker slogans are a substitute for common sense. If you know someone who fits the bill, then Arguing with Idiots will help you silence them once and for all with the ultimate weapon: the truth.

The brilliance of Arguing with Idiots is that Glenn takes the entire liberal narrative and deconstructs it piece by piece until at the end all you have is a bunch of mumbo jumbo feel good-ism.

I guess what I like most about this book is that if you pay attention to it, what Glenn is really doing is teaching you how to take a liberal's arguments and turn it against them.

Oh and one more thing...It doesn't hurt that this title is amazingly funny!
