Undead is the worst Zombie story ever.... It was agony to listen all the way through...What a waste of time........... The Narrator was great! She did the best she could with this JUNK!!!
It was boring, the plot was awful, and the Characters were just weak...

Agent Franks of the U.S. Monster Control Bureau is a man of many parts - parts from other people, that is. Franks is nearly seven feet tall and all muscle. He's nearly indestructible. Plus he’s animated by a powerful alchemical substance and inhabited by a super-intelligent spirit more ancient than humanity itself. Good thing he’s on our side. More or less.

Franks is the definition of duty to country, honor, and get the job done at any cost... By far the best book in the series yet.... Counting the day's until the next book.

I am not going to complain to you about my life. We’ve got zombies. They are not the brainless, rotting creatures we’d been led to expect. Unfortunately for us, they’re just as smart as they were before they died, very fast, much stronger than you or me, and possess no internal editor at all. Claws. Did I mention claws? I kill them for a living, but it’s as much a vocation as a freelance career choice. It helps me, helps my neighborhood, and the people I consider to be my family of choice. What’s more?

I AGREE WITH THE REVIEW THAS SAID THIS BOOK IS WHAT SHATTERED HOUR GLASS BY J L BOURNE COULD HAVE BEEN....IT'S A REALLY GOOD LISTEN AND WORTH EVERY PENNY. IT DEVELOPS THE CHARACTERS REALLY WELL, THE CHARACTERS DON'T MAKE THE REALLY DUMB MISTAKES PRESENT IN SO MANY ZOMBIE STORIES, ALTHOUGH THE PART WHERE ERIC LEAVES WEAPONS AT HIS HOUSE FOR SOMEONE THAT MAY NEED THEM MADE ME CRINGE... WHAT A GREAT BOOK!! IT ALSO HAS ALOT OF SCAVENGING...... DEEP DOWN... DON'T ALL OF US WISH WE COULD JUST GO IN A STORE AND EVERYTHING IS THERE FOR THE TAKING??

The year was 2014. We had cured cancer. We had beat the common cold. But in doing so we created something new, something terrible that no one could stop. The infection spread, virus blocks taking over bodies and minds with one, unstoppable command: FEED.

YOU KNOW HOW WHEN YOU ARE LISTENING TO A GOOD BOOK AND YOU MISS SOME YOU REWIND AND START OVER TO HEAR THE PART YOU MISSED? YOU DON'T EVER HAVE TO DO THAT WITH THIS BOOK BECAUSE THE AUTHOR OVER DESCRIBES EVERYTHING SO MUCH YOU CAN MISS 10 MINUTES AND SHE IS STILL DESCRIBING THE ROOM THE CHARACTERS ARE STANDING IN...I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE TAKE SO LONG TO DO SO LITTLE IN MY LIFE. NOT TO MENTION THAT THE STORY IS DUMB.
WHY HAVE A MALE NARRATOR AND USE THE FEMALE TO DO MOST OF THE BOOK, INSTEAD OF LETTING THE MALE DO THE MALE CHARACTERS. THE FEMALE NARRATOR MAKES THE MALE CHARACTERS SOUND LIKE A DRAG QUEEN FROM NEW YORK.

    THIS BOOK IS BAD...

FIRST OF ALL LET ME SAY THAT THIS BOOK COULD HAVE BEEN GREAT..... IT WAS ONLY GOOD FOR TWO REASONS.... FIRST, TO MUCH TIME SPENT ON STORY (DRAMA) LEADING UP TO CONFLICT WITH BAD GUYS. SECOND "KATE" WHINES SO MUCH AND BRINGS SO MUCH DRAMA THAT YOU DREAD HEARING HER CHARACTER. EVERYTIME SHE SAID SOMETHING OUT OF HER PIE HOLE IT MAKE THE LISTNER CRINGE.

THAT SAID THE NEXT BOOK SHOULD BE GOOD....GREAT, IF THE AUTHOR DOES NOT GO BACK INTO THE FIRST BOOK TO MUCH TO CATCH A NEW READER UP...
