Alex and Conner Bailey's world is about to change, in this fast-paced adventure that uniquely combines our modern day world with the enchanting realm of classic fairytales. The Land of Stories tells the tale of twins Alex and Conner. Through the mysterious powers of a cherished book of stories, they leave their world behind and find themselves in a foreign land full of wonder and magic where they come face-to-face with the fairy tale characters they grew up reading about.

What did you like best about The Land of Stories? What did you like least?

I really liked how Chris wove many favorite story tales into the main story. Good Job

What didn’t you like about Chris Colfer’s performance?

I don't think authors should preform their own work. I love Chris Colfer as an actor, but his reading of the story had no character differentiation, no change in voice or inflection.

    Any additional comments?

Kate Redding would have been a great choice for narrator.

In a case that spans 20 years, Harry Bosch links the bullet from a recent crime to a file from 1992, the killing of a young female photographer during the L.A. riots. Harry originally investigated the murder, but it was then handed off to the Riot Crimes Task Force and never solved. Now Bosch's ballistics match indicates that her death was not random violence, but something more personal, and connected to a deeper intrigue. Like an investigator combing through the wreckage after a plane crash, Bosch searches for the "black box", the one piece of evidence that will pull the case together.

What did you like best about The Black Box? What did you like least?

The best part about this book was, that it finally ended.

What didn’t you like about Michael McConnohie’s performance?

There was absolutely nothing to like about Michael McConnohie's performance. It was simply awful.

    Any additional comments?

I'll not purchase another Michael Connelly book unless Len Cariou or Dick Hall are the performing artist.

Although his father had been reluctant to become a field operative, Jack Ryan Jr. wants nothing more. Privately training with a seasoned Special Forces drill instructor, he’s honing his skills to transition his work within The Campus from intelligence analysis to hunting down and eliminating terrorists wherever he can—even as Jack Ryan Sr. campaigns for re-election as President of the United States. But what neither father nor son knows is that the political and the personal have just become equally dangerous.

Mark Greaney writes fast paced books that are difficult to put down. If I had one criticism it would be that he goes into a lot of detail about the guns that are used by the main characters. It's clear to me that Mark like firearms. I don't think the long descriptions of the bullets, grains of powder, etc add anything to the story. On the other hand they don't detract from it either. Now he just needs to produce books faster than I can consume them. Which means he needs to issue about 150 books a years! WOOHOO I'm good with that!

Nothing against John Glover, because he did a good job. But a Dresden Files book read by anybody other than James Marsters is just not the same. The characters Don't have the same feel or sound and that is truly a distraction, most notably Harry and Butters.
