"Enjoyed this one more than the first"
now this is a holy man, wow. Not sure what it was, but I just liked this book better. Who knows, LOL.
Good book, good narrator, good series, cant wait for the 3rd book in late Oct.
worth the money or credits. Definitely will listen to again.
The main male character is a priest, yummy, will that get me in trouble? LOL
"Wow, Hotter than He**"
This book will scorch you. This book is super hot and has a great story line with all the hot romance. Hotter than the first one. Those Lycans sure can get down.
Really! I like it better if the same narrator does a complete series, but really, pick one of the 2 and keep that ONE for the rest of these. This narrator isnt bad, its just my brain just heard the first book and then had to get used to a new voice for all my fav characters.
This book is so worth the price (actually very low price) and I highly recommend this book and series to everyone that loves a hot romance read that consumes the listener. Had to do this one in 2 nights, but it sure could be a one day or night read. Wow.
"Loved It"
A little bit of a 'slow starter" but it got rolling in a few chapters. Very neat twist to the Angel, Vamp, Lycan stuff I normally read. I really loved this book and find it is worth far more than $7. Spend your money here, save your credit for those nineteen and over twenty dollar books, LOL. I cant wait for more of the series, I devoured this one in 3 nights, tried really hard to make it 2 nights but I did have to have a little bit of sleep. Very steamy romance and a very good story to it. You wont be disappointed.
Narration was hard to get used to at first, but I soon got used to it and really missed it in the 2nd book.
"Fantastic--50 shades of what???"
I have read nothing but horrible review of the stupid 50 shades. My sister could not even finish reading the 3rd book. This series is so super, I plan on getting the books for her for Christmas. I broke this first one up into 3 nights, nearly killed me, but book 2 was an all nighter. One hour of sleep before I had to get the kids off to school.
I just loved them both, Book 2 a little more frustrating I guess is the word, like another review said they were all over the place, but I just knew it would all come together. This book, WoW I love a handsome, ripped, self-assured man that knows what he wants and is blunt in asking for it. Man, I would do Gideon. Id even put up with his crap to have him, so I guess I related very well with the main female character.
I usually save credits for books over 20, so I paid $ for this and the 2nd one, NO REGRETS, I would pay for it or credit for them both.
Just absolutely ones I will hear more than another time.
The next book is due I think in March, 2013. Check out the author website and see. I will be in line for that one too.
"Be Brave, try this spin off series, I Loved it."
Took a chance, and was ever so glad. Third in the series comes out this month cant wait. If you enjoyed nightwalkers, you will like this series, and narrator. I devoured the first 2 books, and I know I will listen to them again. Im so grateful for the honest reviews, I use them a lot to help choose my books.
worth the money or credit, good narrator, good story.
"Love this series LOVE IT"
I would recommend this series to everyone, even those that do paper reading. Super series. Very unusual spin on the good vs evil take. Super narrator, please keep him for all the series. I love how this "life" is running simultaneously with the "brotherhood" from her other series. LOVE IT!
Worth money or credits, how can anyone be disappointed in this series. Cannot say enough about it. Dont hesitate, listen to all of them, you will be waiting on the edge of your seat like me for the next book.
"BAD Narrator, Not even a really good story"
better narration, and the story was just missing something, i quit listening to it, may take a month or more for me to want to finish it.
Ya know, Im not real sure.
Tavia Gilbert, maybe or amanda ronconi. or heck, that Justine Erye would have been better and she is not one of my top 5 favs. ANYONE with more than 1 voice tone and inflection when voices change.
all three emotions really
perhaps I may listen again and storywise it will improve, but I can tell now, no more from this narrator or author.
"just listened to it again, man love this series!"
Great Series, Great Narration.
I really did not like Furys book the first time. I read it in hardback as this did not exist then. He came across as whiney and "oh woah is me".
The second time thru I listened to it. I really listened, and paid closer attention to Furys story and really got A LOT more out of the back story I dont understand drug addiction, but I believe that I have a food addiction, so I related more this time to his "escape". I felt really bad for him and his life and how his parents felt toward him. Cormia was so very healing for him and helped him with the one day at a time stuff and I felt so happy for him this time. He came across as more tortured and in pain, so I got it so much better and it helped me relate to the entire story. Z really knew no other life, so he did not know that he "needed" rescued, and Fury wanted a thanks and envied Z his woman and baby on the way, Fury gave up his younger life to search for and rescue Z, he made the choice and should not have been so jealous, but that is the way of it. That part of this story really moved me.
Man, I love this series, they feel like family. I hate that it takes so long until the next installment, then I devour it way too fast.
You cant go wrong with this series by cash or credit.
"Good Story, Bad narrator"
oh, in my book about an 8. I paid money for it and would listen to it again, so it was pretty good.
I really enjoy the wit of the characters the most. How Ty's brother calls him "meow mix" after he is attacked by a mountain lion. just family type banter, makes it seem so real life and not so much a story.
I swear who picks the narrators? I just knew he was gonna say "hey bo bo lets go get some pick in nick baskets" LOL ROTFL Then he has a "jimmy stewart" voice, I nearly cracked up getting used to it in the first book and it wasnt any better in this one. If you can get past that, you have a really good book with a nice story to it. Id read more by these authors, and hope they keep the NEW narrator as in the 3rd book and keep getting the rest of this series. I dont want to miss anything. I checked their web site and there is 2 more books so far in the series.
Zane definitely, yeah, I like the bad boy type. But then again I dig men in uniform too, so Ty would be next. With their proclivities, we could just have a 3-some, they have both done women before. Hmmmmmm sounds yummy, I guess I could just watch........yep sick but hey Im way to straight and my real life ex ....he has a husband now.....and I have a new husband, and think that my ex's man is hot. (he likes bad boys too, no wonder we stayed friends for the past 21 yrs of our divorce)
Laugh at the narrator, block him as best you can and enjoy the story, it really is good and worth the money or credit, but you must like M/M or this book is not for you. The third book is good and the narrator is really good. C'mon, you can make it, you know you want to.
"This is a fantastic book, so different than most"
this rates at at least a 10
the strong female character "in charge" of her life and knows what she wants, but equally strong male character, don't get me wrong, but he falls first. Most of these regency romances are always the other way. This one is so unique, at least that I have read.
Yes, she is Eve Dallas in JD Robbs In Death Series. She is super, I have heard her in others besides the In Death, by far the BEST out there. I have about 5 that I look for when I listen and Susan is one of the best.
nothing extreme, nothing any other typical regency book gets from me, anyway.
super book, worth the money or credit, and super narration. Im already getting book 2, with the same narrator, so I know it will be good. LOL
