Kidnapping Pinkie Duvall’s trophy wife seems the perfect way to get even. There’s just one problem. He doesn’t foresee the electric attraction he’ll feel for this lonely, desperate woman from New Orleans. Sandra Brown’s flair for concocting just the right blend of passion and mystery has made her one of America’s most popular writers.

Where does Fat Tuesday rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

at the top. I was hooked from the beginning

What other book might you compare Fat Tuesday to and why?

I really can't compare it to anything. It's a great book, the story gets you from the beginning and keep you interested. The ending is something you don't see coming ang doesn't let you down.

Have you listened to any of Jack Garrett’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first I've heard of his. He nailed every accent.

I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily…Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. And we would become the mirrors that reflected each other’s most private wounds…and desires."

Master of suspense James Patterson continues the Women's Murder Club series with this nail-biter of a sequel to 1st to Die. Four women - a police detective, an assistant D.A., a journalist, and a medical examiner - combine their efforts, risking everything, to catch a serial killer. "As with Patterson's best novels," Booklist says, "the surprises keep coming until the final pages."

Where does 2nd Chance rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Not at the very top but this story really kept me interested. Different clue took different twists through the story.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The most interesting was when she visited the prison. That really kept me on edge. The least interesting was Cindy's dating life,

What about Melissa Leo and Jeremy Piven ’s performance did you like?

Jeremy Piven was born to do this. His voice was entrancing and I thought fit the character very well. Melissa Leo was OK but I could never tell which woman was speaking. I wish they would have used the first narrator again.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I can't tell, it would give too much away

If you could sum up Fifty Shades of Grey in three words, what would they be?

    Erotic, Fantasy, Sexual

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades of Grey?

    The fist "Love" scene

What aspect of Becca Battoe’s performance would you have changed?

    Less valley girl inflection

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but this is because I was waiting for something super exciting to happen, and it never did! This book was on Dr. Phil for crying out loud. I just don't understand what all the hype is. It's no different or more discriptive then any of erotic fantasy book.

    Any additional comments?

I will not be downloading the next two books. I really don't care what happens, Now that I've discovered that there is nothing extremely special about this book. Kudos to the publicist for all the media hype!

We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

In this terrifying and hilarious prequel, we witness the genesis of the zombie plague in early 19th-century England. We watch Elizabeth Bennet evolve from a nave young teenager into a savage slayer of the undead. We laugh as she begins her first clumsy training with nunchucks and katana swords and cry when her first blush with romance goes tragically awry.

I agree with the other reviewer, this doesn't hold a candle to the Virgin River Series but still a good listen. I don't care for the reader at all. It makes the story very confusing because she uses the same voice for all of the characters and you never know who is talking!! Cute story overall.
