Yep still going strong. A little slow in places but not enough to get bored or lose interest. Marguerite Gavin dose an outstanding job with this book just as she did in the first two. Kim Harrison's dose an outstanding job with moving the story onward and the characters development growing. Book 4 will be my next purchase.

Only a handful of people in the world know that mankind's magic comes from a living creature, and it is a refugee from another universe. The Power showed up here in the 1850s because it was running from something. Now it is 1933, and the Power's hiding place has been discovered by a killer. It is a predator that eats magic and leaves destroyed worlds in its wake. Earth is next. Former private eye Jake Sullivan knows the score. The problem is, hardly anyone believes him.

I don’t have the words to express how enjoyable the joinery of reading this series has been. I pushed play and never hit stop . If you don’t have the credits than spend the cash. I’m going to bed now.

Karigan G’ladheon, running away from school, is traveling through a deep forest when a galloping horse pounds up to her, its rider impaled by two black-shafted arrows. With his dying breath, he tells her he is a Green Rider, one of the magical messengers of the King. Before he dies, he makes Karigan swear to deliver the message he’s carrying, and gives her his green coat, with the symbolic brooch of his office.

Some things are not worth wasting your time or money on, but this book cost me not only $17.00 but a night’s sleep. WORTH EVERY PENNY AND THE LOSE OF SLEEP. Kristen Britain put together a believable world, charters that are just as believable, and a story that keeps you turning the page. Well done Ellen Archer, Men sound like men, Women sound like Women, Young and old sound like Young and old. That’s not as easy as it sounds to pull off. I’ve already got book 2, another $17.00 and sleepless night.

The Star Kingdom has a new generation of officers! And this elite group hand-picked and trained by Honor Harrington herself is going to be needed immediately, as their first assignment turns out to be more dangerous than anyone expected. What was supposed to be a quiet outpost, far from the blazing conflict between the Star Kingdom of Manticore and the People's Republic of Haven has actually been targeted by an unholy alliance between the slaveholders of Manpower.

David ...I can say I've never been disappointed with the Honor books. if you get the chance Get them all. Worth the credits

Jay... What to say about Jay...NEVER, NEVER, EVER try and do female voices again. This book would have been so much more enjoyable if a woman would have done the female parts. I almost gave up on it after about 10 min. Because of them. I finely was able to plow on by putting the speed up to 1.5. You do kinda get used to them (Ok... truth is your ears kind go numb) after the first part. Male voices where done well and I didn't catch to many wrong words. Listen to the sample (wish i would have) if you can't stand the narrators female voices Get the paperback.

Jake Sullivan is a licensed private eye with a seriously hardboiled attitude. He also possesses raw magical talent and the ability to make objects in his vicinity light as a feather or as heavy as depleted uranium, all with a magical thought. It's no wonder the G-men turn to Jake when they need someoneto go after a suspected killer who has been knocking off banks in a magic-enhanced crime spree.

I got this book on sale for $5.00...WORTH EVERY PENNY and if I would have know what a kick to listen to it was I would have gladly paid full price. I'm getting the next one today.

Former bounty hunter Rachel Morgan has it pretty good. She has left the corrupt Inderland Runner Service and started her own independent service. She's survived werewolves, shape-changing demons, bad-hair days, and sharing a church with her vampire roommate, Ivy. She even has a cute (if human) boyfriend - what more could a witch want? But living with a reformed vampire isn't all it's cracked up to be.

She's also a witch, one of the many Inderlanders who revealed themselves after a genetically engineered virus wiped out 50 percent of humanity. Witches, warlocks, vampires, werewolves: the creatures of dreams and nightmares have lived beside humans for centuries, hiding their powers. But now they've stopped hiding, and nothing will be the same.

As a half-demon master of the dark arts, Eve Levine isn't what anyone would call "angelic." That's exactly why the Fates chose her for the job. She's their secret weapon against the forces of evil. However, after five years, Eve is tired of being the designated rebel of the angel corps, expected to break the rules, then being penalized for it. When the leaderless djinn stage an uprising, Eve sees the perfect chance to get herself fired.

Love this series and Angelic falls right into place with the wit and style of Otherwold. It's a good listen BUT (yep there's a but) it's way to short. I'm hoping that this is More a teaser ('bring us up to speed with Eve) before the next FULL book comes out..
