Considered by many to be Chesterton’s masterpiece, this book declares his comprehensive view of world history as informed by the Incarnation. Retelling man’s story from the very beginning, he shows how all of men’s desires are fulfilled in the person of Christ and Christ’s Church. With his characteristic brilliance and irony, he argues that Christianity is not just a religion to stand beside other religions, for the fact of the Incarnation sets it quite apart.

Would you listen to The Everlasting Man again? Why?

This is one of those books you really need to read to gain all that is written. I would consider this a slightly deep thought provoking book, well worth reading.

    Any additional comments?

Very thought provoking and a thinking person, with wisdom, will understand all the implications of this writing. Worth listening to.

Why are some people and organizations more innovative, more influential, and more profitable than others? Why do some command greater loyalty from customers and employees alike? Even among the successful, why are so few able to repeat their successes over and over? People like Martin Luther King Jr., Steve Jobs, and the Wright Brothers might have little in common, but they all started with why.

After 500 years, the world's huge debt to the wisdom of the Indians of the Americas has finally been explored in all its vivid drama by anthropologist Jack Weatherford. He traces the crucial contributions made by the Indians to our federal system of government, our democratic institutions, modern medicine, agriculture, architecture, and ecology, and in this astonishing, ground-breaking book takes a giant step toward recovering a true American history.

This book is a real eye opener, well worth listening to. I am not a history buff, so there are things in this book that I have never heard of before. Every thinking person needs to listen to this book. It makes you feel like you did not get the full story of our history in school. If every thing in this book is true, the history books need to be rewritten. I would encourage every one to listen to this book to fully understand our history.
