"Reader issue"
This is a very good book, if you have a specialized interest in the civil war. However, the reader puts on obnoxious British and Southern accents when quoting respective characters in the story. Fortunately, this is a small part of the text, but distracting. One wonders if someone asks the readers to exaggerate distinction between characters to this end.
"balthazar"
This is great literature. The reader is excellent when reading lines of English male characters. But any lines of women or Egyptians are so awful as to grate on the ears.
"first rate history"
I thought this book was extremely well researched and well read. Anyone with an interest in intelligence matters and the history of current intelligence services will find this rewarding.
