My kids and I listened to this book and the reader just didn't capture the essence of the story. Zooey Mamma!!
I would not say it wasn't for me: I just liked the movie (the first one) and hoped it was an expanded version. It is not.

Clarke captures the imagination with a premis that has plenty of surprises. This book is what I like to call a philosophical science fiction - it challenges you to think beyond "what if" and opens your mind to the possibilities that lie in the realm of "if only".
Alright, it has some fabulous information in it; but I expected more. It feels like he is running out of money and decided to write a book just to cover the expenses of being NR.
I listen to books as I drive and while this book did pass the time it was fairly boring.
It is no wonder why Chris Thomlin's songs touch the heart of God and the heart of the one who sings them. This raw look at self will leave you longing for a closer walk with God.
This book is one of the best books I have ever read. It will challenge you to your core, making you question how well you really care for others or how well they care for you.
