Where does Divide and Conquer rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best! I'm not a romantic, but this series has stolen my heart.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Tye. He's blunt, bad-arse, and hilarious.

What does Sean Crisden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like his voices better than what I could come up with. :)

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    YES!

    Any additional comments?

Where the heck is book 5?!?!

This is one of the best smexy books I've got into in a long time, and I couldn't be happier that it's a series! Renard was amazing as the narrator, easily transitioning between accents. I do wish Gabe was a bit more masculine at times, but overall, the book and narrator were a wonderful match. This book marries romance and dominance very well. My highest recommendation if that sort of thing tickles your fancy.

Forty-five-year-old English professor Nathan Qells is very good at making people feel important. What he's not very good at is sticking around afterward. He's a nice guy; he just doesn't feel things the way other people do. So even after all the time he's spent taking care of Michael, the kid across the hall, he doesn't realize that Michael's mob muscle uncle and guardian, Andreo Fiore, has slowly been falling in love with him. Dreo has bigger problems than getting Nate to see him as a potential partner.

Jane Yellowrock is the last of her kind-a skinwalker of Cherokee descent who can turn into any creature she desires and hunts vampires for a living. But now she's been hired by Katherine Fontaneau, one of the oldest vampires in New Orleans and the madam of Katie's Ladies, to hunt a powerful rogue vampire who's killing other vamps.

What did you love best about Skinwalker?

It's a story I can share with my 15 year old niece.

What other book might you compare Skinwalker to and why?

Elemental Assassin books. Strong female lead that can kick some tail.

    Any additional comments?

It's just a fun book! Listening to it makes me giggle like a little girl, and the conversations I've had with my niece over it are absolutely priceless! With her being a teen, it's hard to have conversations lasting more than 15 minutes, but when we talk about this book and ask each other what we would do in Jane's situations, it's just amazing. Can't wait to download the next book!

An erotic gay romance, a suspenseful thriller.... A series of murders in New York City has stymied the police and FBI alike, and they suspect the culprit is a single killer sending an indecipherable message. But when the two federal agents assigned to the investigation are taken out, the FBI takes a more personal interest in the case. Special Agent Ty Grady is pulled out of undercover work. He's cocky, abrasive, and indisputably the best at what he does.

Would you listen to Cut and Run again? Why?

Yes. I'm not a romantic, but I found this full of quiet romance. Maybe I'm just a nut and you shouldn't pay attention to my review, but I just loved it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cut and Run?

Ty shielding Zane in the car. I haven't quite gotten to the end yet, but I had to download the next book in case this one ends while I'm still driving. :)

What aspect of Sawyer Allerde’s performance would you have changed?

Sawyer is a little too fast, especially in the beginning. I thought the building he was in was on fire and he couldn't evacuate until he finished at least the first chapter. He also needs to work on the difference between character voices, transitioning between characters, and his female voices. Once I got into the story I didn't notice his speed, but the transitions were a bit frustrating.

If you could rename Cut and Run, what would you call it?

I Wrote This Book for Marian!

    Any additional comments?

This is my first gay romance book and I'm hooked!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Outlaw Demon Wails to be better than the print version?

I would recommend the print version only because this new narrator hasn't listened to previous versions to be consistent with timing, accents, and how some names are pronounced. First lesson in taking over narration in the middle of a series, do your homework on previous versions! Should be a condition the author makes when writing up the contract.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Gigi Bermingham?

I would like to have Ms. Gavin back because I'm used to her style. I'm sure if Ms. Bermingham had started the series in the beginning I would be used to her, but the differences between the two ladies are too great to easily push past.

Where does Dark Lover rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Somewhere in the middle. I felt like there wasn't enough "umph". The fight scenes and romance scenes were lacking, but I liked the interaction between the brothers. I found myself laughing out load quite a few times.

What other book might you compare Dark Lover to and why?

Midnight Breed series. Similar that they both center around a band of brothers fighting evil and one at a time finding love.

Would you be willing to try another one of Jim Frangione’s performances?

No. It was too hard to follow his narration of this book. I had to rewind the book several times to figure out who was talking since he didn't change his voice at all for the characters. I also found myself daydreaming and losing my place.

    Any additional comments?

I would like to know what else this series has to offer, but I'm not sure if I want to spend the money on the audio book with this narrator.
