    I have recomended this book to all my friennds with any interest in the fantasy genre.


    What was one of the most memorable moments of Before They Are Hanged?

    The Battle scenes in this second volume of the trilogy are absolutely riveting. The story never went where i expected it.

    What did you like best about this story?

    The characters. Joe has created some great ones. When tackling books of this size ultimately its the characters that drive the story. The humor in the books is great also. something I think alot of fantasy stories lack. Joe`s wry,cynical humor is just great. Then of course there is the action. I would say "gritty", is a great way to describe it. overall Red Country has all the esentials of a truly entertaining, and often insightful book.


    What does Steven Pacey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    He is as good as i have heard. I was glad to see him back for Red Country.


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Wanted to? I almost did. About two days.


    Any additional comments?

    Anyone interested in a fun,thoughtful story, cant go wrong here. I would recomend starting with "The First Law" trilogy, so u can know each characters backstory. But isnt essential. You wont be lost.
