This book is yet another example of how a potentially good book can go bad with the wrong narrator. Venessa Caine voice sounded strained and that made this audio book hard to enjoy. I also had a hard time placing the time period in which the story took place in, was it in todays modern times or a century ago.
This book could have been much more enjoyable if the narrator spoke with more passion and the character voices did not sound so muffled and restrained.
There was also a noticeable difference in writing style here compared to other Maya Banks books. I found the story line scattered and the ending rushed.

To be honest I could only tolerate about 10 minutes of this book. The narrator monotone and unemotional voice did me in immediately. There are way too many other great books available than to waste my time on this one. I have listen to several other Maya Banks book that were outstanding and very very enjoyable, however this one did not captivate at all.

This series is HOT HOT HOT !!!!!! The story line is well developed, the narrator does a fantastic job. I have listen to them all and have no complaints well except that I have to wait for the next book to come available.

The story was rushed and you could hear each breath the narrator took before reading the next sentence. I would not recommend this particular book.

I found this book to be VERY BORING, I only finished listening to it because I can't stand not finishing what I start.

This is a great series, I would recommend listening to it if you like romance and hot steamy blow your mind _ _ _ .
