"another time another life"
the story was not good, could not get into it.
Erik is great, he did all he could with the material.
I wasted my team listening to this book, kept thinking it would get better. Huge disappointment.
"narrator ruined book"
I would buy another Jim Butcher book with different narrator.
I will never knowingly select a book narrated by James Marsters.
The narrator seemed to have a breathing impediment, like he really should not try to read books because he does not have enough air. He constantly made heavy sighs and had to take gulps of breath especially if the story line was excited or little faster paced. It got to where I was counting his loud inhale and exhales vs. listenting to the story. It was very distracting.
"Disappointing Gone Girl"
Having different narrators back and forth was good.
This book started out OK- agree with others this is a novel about two horrible people in a story that is way too hard to accept and believe. Since it is a story where there is no character to relate to or root for, at the end I also just ended up disappointed.
"WISE MAN's Fear"
The narrator is very good. The stories are good and could be books on their own. It was hard to stay interested in the details of side stories that went on and on with minutia for hours. I would have liked more on the main theme. I suppose that will be done in the 3rd book Hope so.
"Trapped"
the story lacked imagination, very boring, no real depth
the narrator was not good, the voices were really all the same
disappointed and want my money back
