"harley"
I like Greg Iles and this one was pretty good as far as the novel goes but the narrator was horrid. He made the main character sound like a tired old man, or worse, a politician giving a boring speech. Pauses between many words, even pauses within the words! Just awful. It was all I could do to keep the faith and listen to the end.
"dexter in the dark"
There were long passages that just draaaaged. The philosofical musings of the nature of evil have no place in this book, especially if they become the explanation for some people's "evil nature". The author should stick to "Dexter the Avenger", it satisfies the need to see justice done.
"Too disappointing"
I have never read or listenend to a Patterson book before and selected this one on previous fame and reviews. However, this was the most frustrating ending I have listened to or read. There is so much filler you would think the author gets paid by the page. Connections and explanations vital to the credibility of the story are never made and the end is implausible without an explanation to make it so. I would not recommend it at all.
