Born, raised, and live in Hawaii. Married with one cat. My favorite way to drive my car is to listen to a great audiobook at the same time. Addicted to the Pendergast novels of Preston and Child. Also love autobiographies narrated by the author, usually a celebrity of some sort.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was kind of angry that the US government was so cruel and unfair to the woman who was convicted of being Tokyo Rose. It really wasn't her fault. She was just trying to survive.

There have been many Marines. There have been many marksmen. But there has been only one Sergeant Carlos Hathcock, a legend of Marine lore. He stalked the Viet Cong behind enemy lines. His record has never been matched: 93 confirmed kills. This is his story. Powerful, chilling, and all true.

Would you try another book from Charles Henderson and/or Kevin Foley?

    Probably not.

    Any additional comments?

My husband actually was the one who listened to it. He said it didn't hold his attention as much as, say, if the sniper himself were narrating it. But it got better after the first half.

As he stalks his wife's betrayers-a chase that takes him from the wild moors of Scotland to the bustling streets of New York City and the darkest bayous of Louisiana - he is also forced to dig further into Helen's past. And he is stunned to learn that Helen may have been a collaborator in her own murder.

Would you consider the audio edition of Cold Vengeance to be better than the print version?

    Probably.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Pendergast, of course. Although I also like Laura Heyward and D'Agosta.

What does Rene Auberjonois bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The breadth of talent he has for different accents and voices. Excellent! I like him a lot more than Scott Brick, at least for these books.
