Two masters of epic fantasy have combined in this brilliant collaboration to create a rousing tale. This is the story of Shana, a half-breed born of the forbidden union of an Elvenlord father with a human mother. Her exiled mother dead, Shana was rescued and raised by dragons, a proud, ancient race who existed unbeknownst to elven or human kind. From birth, Shana was the embodiment of the Prophecy that the all-powerful Elvenlords feared. Her destiny is the enthralling adventure of a lifetime.

I feel the story and plot were very good. However I felt the ending was week. It felt like the authors did not know what to do from that point on and just ended the story leving thing up in the air.

In the time before the Confessors, when the world is a dark and dangerous place, where treason and treachery are the rule of the day, comes one heroic woman, Magda Searus, who has just lost her husband and her way in life.

I have read every sword of truth novel. The story of the first confessor was one I was looking forward to. I enjoyed the story however the performance was lacking in that the vocalizations of some of the characters seemed trite. Many times the narrator sounded more like a mechanical voice. There were many timed the same lines were repeated. I feel this shows lack of attention to detail.
