In a daring and chilling debut, Brad Thor draws us into a sinister labyrinth of political intrigue and international terrorism, serving up an explosive cocktail of unrelenting action and a shattering climax, as one man is pushed to the edge.

On the snow-covered slopes of Utah, the unthinkable has just become a nightmarish reality. Thirty Secret Service agents have been viciously executed, and the vacationing president of the United States has been kidnapped.

What would have made The Lions of Lucerne better?

If Vince Flynn would've written it.

What was most disappointing about Brad Thor’s story?

The dialogue, the patch-work story line, the author's inexperience. It was obvious this was one of Thor's earlier works. Some of the lines came straight out of a cheesy Steven Segal movie.

Did Armand Schultz do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Armand Schultz did an admirable job, considering what he had to work with.

What character would you cut from The Lions of Lucerne?

The flaws in this book go way beyond cutting one character.

    Any additional comments?

This book was painful to get through. I'll give Thor another shot with one of his latter works, but I don't have my hopes up.
