Having narrowly averted an (under)world war, Cat Crawfield wants nothing more than a little downtime with her vampire husband, Bones. Unfortunately, her gift from New Orleans’ voodoo queen just keeps on giving - leading to a personal favor that sends them into battle once again, this time against a villainous spirit. Centuries ago, Heinrich Kramer was a witch hunter. Now, every All Hallows Eve, he takes physical form to torture innocent women before burning them alive.

I love love love this series. Jeaniene Frost is an amazingly talented writer. Her imagery jumps off the page. Tavia Gilbert is one of the best narrators around. She brings the book and the characters to life. Every character is distinct and she puts her all into the performance. Now I have read/listened to all of her Night Huntress books and the story never turns bland or boring. Some authors at least one dull book in the series. I have to say she does not. Every book delivers great story, lots of laughs, awesome fight scenes and hot romance. Each book grabs you from the very start and take you for a wild ride. This is a fun series to start and follow.

One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him. But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation - and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out - Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume - her sweet, filthy fling - to France for the summer and just…play.

The book starts out slow and felt as if the narrator couldn't get into the story at first, however Shayna Thibodeaux really gets into her character as the books goes on bringing the characters to life as they began to bond and form this wild romantic relationship. I really didn't appreciate her narration and pick up on the way the female character was feeling unsure about her future and her standing with her family until she meets our sweet filthy boy.

The story is funny and embarrassing and totally worth a listen. It is a perfect love story for those who love the adventure of just picking up and running away to get to know the perfect stranger in the most romantic city in the world. It isn't fluffy or light. It is raw and sexual. If you are sensitive to dirty talk and hot sex scenes this isn't for you. For the rest of you ……buy buy buy

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

Would you listen to The Fault in Our Stars again? Why?

I don't know. Yes I loved the story and the message behind it, and it left a big impact on my heart. However, it was sad. I look at cancer patients in a whole new light and respect. A person is not their disease. They deserve dignity. I do hope the movie lives up to the hype.

Have you listened to any of Kate Rudd’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Kate Rudd did a great job as usual. I love her narrations.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The immense relief that she felt when she got the final letter. I felt the characters triumph and release she needed to go forward.

    Any additional comments?

FIOS being a YA book should be read by all ages. Mr. Green weaves a difficult subject line however sheds light on how a person with cancer views life through not so rosy glasses. I will always think of this book fondly.

Most girls might think twice before getting engaged to someone like Reyes Farrow - but Charley Davidson is not most girls. She’s a paranormal private eye and grim-reaper-in-training who’s known to be a bit of a hell-raiser, especially after a few shots of caffeine. Her beloved Reyes may be the only begotten son of evil, but he’s dark and sultry and deeply sexy and everything Charley could hope for. Really. But when the FBI file on Reyes’ childhood happens to land into her lap, she can’t help herself: She opens it...and then the real fun begins.

Once again Darynda Jones and Lorelei King are a power house duo. The story continues on from the 5th book bringing back the favorites but introducing new characters. I hope this series never ends. I always love the way Charlie Davidson blends her personal story with her investigations. I always look forward to the beginning to each chapter to hear the latest bumper sticker or T-shirt. I would totally wear theses t-shirts. DJ is my all time favorite writer. Her stories never get old or played out. Her style of story line of the life of a grim reaper is original and the humor is just top notch. Cant wait for the next book. For now I think I am going to start the series over and enjoy it again…..and place an order for some t-shirts on her web site.

Gwendolyn Kidd has met the man of her dreams. He's hot, he's sexy, and what started as a no-names-exchanged night of passion has blossomed into a year and a half-long pleasure fest. Sure, it's a little strange that he only appears in her bed at night, but Gwen is so sure he's the one, she just can't turn him away…. Hawk Delgado knows more about Gwen than she could ever imagine. She's gorgeous, headstrong, and skittish about relationships. But Hawk is facing his own demons, demons that keep him from connecting with anyone.

This story was just not good. I was encouraged by the reviews I read but I found myself rolling my eyes every time she mentioned (which is often) how her tummy got squishy when she was with her man. Ugh!! I felt it was written by a high school student and could imagine she was giggling when writing the sex scenes. Just awful. Pass on this one people. I love a book with a great alpha male but there was so much missing in this story that it didn't make sense. I felt nothing for the characters. Narration was good but I felt sorry that the narrator had to endure reading this junk.

Game of Thrones fans watch in delight as the epic battle of Lannister and Stark entangles the Seven Kingdoms. But only the sharpest notice how these houses echo Lancaster and York in the War of the Roses. Druids, Catholics, and even Zoroastrians wander through Westeros, reframing their religions for a new world of fantasy. But how medieval is Westeros? Did lady knights and pirates really battle across Europe? The audiobook Winter is Coming: Symbols and Hidden Meanings in A Game of Thrones explores all this and more, from the echoes of history to the symbols and omens our beloved characters.

This is perfect for G.O.T. fans who want a little more detailed information about the characters in the book. Once you finish listening to the book you are just amazed how much detail goes into George R R Martins books. The author of Winter is Coming gives reference to pages, chapters and show episodes to give merit to her theory as well as ties historical fact that has some parallel relations to G.O.T. Yes you can get this information on line and blogs for the show however the narrator is excellent and all the information is right here in this book.

Have you ever gone just a little too far? Lexie Banks has. Yep. She just had mind-blowing sex with her stepbrother. In her defense, she was on the rebound, and it's more of a my-dad-happened-to-marry-a-woman-with-a-super-hot-son situation. But still, he's been her best friend and confidant for the better part of the last few years...and is so off limits. It's a good thing she's leaving in two days for a year abroad in Rome. But even thousands of miles away, Lexie can't seem to escape trouble.

What made the experience of listening to A Little Too Far the most enjoyable?

    The narration was great.

Which character – as performed by Anadelle Waters – was your favorite?

Alessandro. He was soft spoken and witty. Also liked her English friend. She was a hoot.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Alessandro came to her the day before his final step into the priesthood.

    Any additional comments?

I can tell you I was really disappointed with the out come of this book. I would have chosen the other path for sure. I get her bond with one man but I felt true love with the Second. Great story though. I really didn't want to go to work and just stay home under the covers and finish it.

Nobody really believes in a curse. Until you know the people who disappear. Too much coincidence, you look for reason. Too much death, you grasp for something to blame. Carson pulled Delaney out and he died on the side of the road with her mouth pressed to his. Her air in his body. Troy. She told the cops it was suicide. Didn't matter. The lake released her and grabbed another. But when Decker's father dies in a pool of spilled water on their kitchen floor, all Decker can feel is a slow burning rage. Because he knows that Delaney knew that his dad was going to die.

Would you listen to Vengeance again? Why?

It was a good story but I wouldn't listen to it again. I guess you can call it one shot goodness.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Vengeance?

When the story started pulling together. When Carson and Delaney get back together after misguided breakup, they figured out that the ill mother of the new kid in town was no longer alive. Piecing together who was making the group of friends think that it was the curse of Falcon Lake, this story starts to have a great build. Lots of twist to the story. One thing I was disappointed in is that this is book 2. I was given this book early to review and found out after 3/4 of the way through the book.

Which character – as performed by Therese Plummer – was your favorite?

All of them. I am a huge fan of Therese Plumber. I also follow her narration to other books. She is great a voice work. Little known fact she also narrates under Savannah Richards.

    Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this book. I will go back and read/listen to the first one. I felt like I was missing a few things.

What made the experience of listening to Up from the Grave the most enjoyable?

When they bring back all the old friends. It's like coming home and seeing old friends. Laughing about their stupid little quirks and knowing you can count on these friends for anything

What did you like best about this story?

I always wanted Jeaniene Frost to write a scenario if Kat and Bones were confronted with a situation of becoming parents. She pulled it off.

Which character – as performed by Tavia Gilbert – was your favorite?

I always loved Bones but this time around Bones sounded more formal. Not his usual hood brit. He sounded a but more polished. More like Ian.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    This Kitten can't be tamed!!

    Any additional comments?

Mrs. Frost never disappoints. I always look forward to her books and her story never gets old. I hope this isn't an end to the series. I will be totally crushed.

Story was a bit flat for me. This was my first Kristan Higgins book and I am not sure I will be over the moon to download another book written by her. I couldn't understand when the male love interest showed now outward physical attraction but did show annoyance would there ever be a draw for the reader. I am glad to report that she kept the mention of her super support under ware to a short description. It was an ok read but I was finding myself looking through my i-pod to see what was next to look forward too. I can honestly tell you the narrator wore me out with the breathy reading. Someone please get her an oxygen tank PLEASE!!!

This was total fiction for me. I however I did like the story and where it went. I would have loved to run away from family, friends and life in general but that is why I read. The characters were developed nicely, hearing from both sides of the story. I would have liked a male to narrate the mans view in this book but the narrator did well enough. It took a while to build and felt enveloped at the end of the book completely. That for me made it a good read…..but not great. I love the idea of how fate draws us to one another however, the book could have started out a bit stronger.
