Another book that you will listen to over and over again.
Michael has the characters down pat.I can not imagine anyone else reading these books.
I will I could get better price deals on these because I want them all.
Two storylines, two great stories. The pace of a book is very important to me. This one's a quick one. Great listen.
Yuki more than the rest. There isn't much of a difference between each character. That said she did keep the pace going.
Just about did, Can't wait for 14.
This one is set at a quicker pace than the others in series. Could not stop listening. Started book at 7 pm and by 1am I stopped and went to bed and started where I left off in the morning. Shorter book than the others but really good storylines.
The more personal side of the characters came out a bit more in this book. Gives more insight into each one. It helps to know what makes them click.
Richie Conklin. There was a sensitivity that was only aluded to in the other books. I'm not a fan of changing readers in the middle of a series but January did ok with the reading. The distinction between the characters wasn't as pronounce as Carolyn McCormick's performance, but January's voice and cadence made you listen and want more.
"WHERE ARE THE BODIES???" for sure
Getting ready to listen to Unlucky 13. A little sad that 14 isn't out yet.
Yes and I have, and will again. Each time a new book comes out I redo the whole series. Its like watching 10 years of a TV series at one long session. That's the only way to do it for me. Its so easy to see how each character has grown and developed into the right fit for the series.
Actually I can't think of one.
As usual she brings a certain life and personality to each character in the story. She is quite good.
The couple that wanted the baby had so much love for him.
Conklin is finally getting a life.
There are many books written about PTSD and the Iraqi War but this one has a different storyline that makes it fresh.
Cindy's character is really developing nicely and the reader has her down pat.
I did it in two sittings. It did keep you listening.
I'm happy Conklin has another interest.
Not my favorite storyline. Took a little longer to finish this one. The pace is sporadic..
She does a good job keeping you interested. With a good story she's really great. And if it's just an OK story she still does a good job. She saved this one.
Yes, keeps you listening for more. GOOD BOOK
All the main characters are well done. Conklin I think is a star in the rough. Can't wait for more of him.
The end was not expected.
COULDN'T STOP LISTENING
Yes, Yes and Yes. One yes for each book. Nice quick pace, the stories each flowed nicely.I had just finished Women's Murder Club Box Set 1 and went directly to Box Set 2. You become addicted. What a rush!!
No never have. She's pretty good. She makes the characters.
Didn't do the print version but the reader really makes the book come to life.
When Lucian denies being the pilot who saved the girl.
George brings volumes to the voices and the story. Each character is distinct. He has an ease to his voice. You believe him.
Nerves of Steel!!
Eleanor Has Insight!!!
Roosevelt always has twists and turns in his stories. Never what you expect.
Of course its Eleanor and how she comes to a conclusion.
The comments by the male server to the captured Nazi.
Not sure. Good listen. Not my favorite subject matter. I don't understand why people loose themselves completely in these religious cults. Walt as usual saves the day.
The whole compound religious sect thing has been done many times but it's the characters and storyline that add that little twist.
As usual he brings the characters to life and he's true to these character with each performance. Bravo!!!!!!!
I hate to see such weakness in people to follow so blindly so it wasn't one of my favorite story lines but the reader does keep you listening.
