Becky Brandon (nee Bloomwood) is pregnant! She couldn't be more overjoyed, especially since discovering that shopping cures morning sickness. Everything has got to be perfect for her baby: from the designer nursery, to the latest, coolest pram, to the celebrity, must-have obstetrician. But when the celebrity obstetrician turns out to be her husband Luke's glamorous, intellectual ex-girlfriend, Becky's perfect world starts to crumble.

    "Good Book, Bad Narrator"
    Overall

As all the Shopaholic Series that's really fun and entretaining but I don´t like the narrator, her voice sound too old to be Becky! I seariously prefer the Confessions of a Shopaholic & shopaholic takes Manhattan narrator.

Alice and Charlie have the perfect marriage. They must have because everyone keeps telling them so. In fact, Alice's whole life is sussed. Two adorable children, one adoring husband, one nanny, one cleaner, one lovely house. And latterly a glamorous new job. What's not to be ecstatic about? And then a new couple moves in across the road: a very perfect, impeccable, tiny stranger with a Gwyneth Paltrow accent and a man Alice hasn't seen since she was 20.

    Overall

I found it sometimes too boring and too long. It was very dificult for me to finish it. I love Chic-lit because is really fun and entertaining, but I don´t found this book fun at all.

Lisa Edwards, top London magazine editor, has been fantasizing about promotion to New York. Instead, she's asked to launch a new women's magazine in Dublin. She thinks nothing could be worse - until she meets her new staff. They're friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic - in other words, they wouldn't last two minutes in London!

    "Pretty Slow"
    Overall

I agree with the preview review somethimes "you want to listen for just 5 more minutes to see what happens next".... But I found the first part of the audiobook too slow, maybe because after this book I read Sophie Kinsella's books that are more fluid and short.

Emma Corrigan has a long list of secrets, one of which is that she is afraid of flying. Coming back from a thoroughly ruinous sales trip to Glasgow, the plane she is on encounters some air turbulence, and she ends up spilling her guts to the handsome American sitting next to her. He gets to hear that she fibbed to get her current job and that she has never been able to satisfactorily find her G-spot. Then, the plane lands...and the American turns up in her life again. He's the CEO of her company....

Sophie Kinsella's debut is a romp through the perils of shopping and spending, spending, spending! Becky can't resist a sale, and she's only a little overdrawn on her VISA. Readers will laugh aloud at Becky's retail adventures as she finds new and creative ways to relieve her increasingly credit card debt. Emily Gray's narration bounces along with Becky and her buying whims, while delivering a humorous account of what happens when credit goes bad.
