I don't like this book. I couldn't finish it. I have tried and tried to listen, but when I noticed it had 53 Chapters, I couldn't do it. It took everything in me to get to Chapter 15. I also didn't like that the sequel didn't have the same people narrating the book. This man doesn't do the female voices justice. The Madison voice was better than the first book, even though it was a man.
It hasn't at all.
It was just bad. He didn't have enough of a difference between the characters to notice the difference between them.
I have read people give bad reviews and say, "I just couldn't finish it". I didn't think I would ever listen to a book and not want to finish. However, this book was the one. I couldn't finish it. I couldn't imagine after the first book, why it would take 46 or 47 chapters in the first book and over 50 chapters in this book. Save you credit for something else!
This series is pretty good so far. I would rank it in my top 10%.
This book is really hot. It's not very realistic, but I don't listen to romance for that reason. I like a steamy story and this one delivers. I will continue we the series. I enjoy the relationship between Julianne and Natalie. They are honest and both are strong. Definitely worth the credit.
Yes. I love sexy books with happy endings and it delivered on my preference.
This is my first by this narrator and she is good.
I picked this book solely based on reviews and I think I will enjoy it. This was a good start to the series and I like Natalie. It's not very deep, but has a good subject and it's entertaining. I am already looking forward to book 2. I think it is credit worthy. Looking forward to more in this series.
The entire book and series. Tack is funny, strong, hard, and sexy. Oh, and he has a foul mouth. However, I loved everything about the book.
Kate Russell is a pro. She brings the characters to life. Near the end, it was easy to tell who was speaking and the Elvira voice has been consistent throughtout the series. Outstanding job.
Yes and will probably listen multiple times.
When I started this series, I thought Hawk was my favorite. Then, I listened to Wild Man and even though Brock had a foul mouth, I still loved the book and his relationship with Tess. Then I listened to Mitch. How can you not love that story of the quiet shy girl and the hot cop. Now Tack, I had the lowest expectation for this book, but I loved it. He parents different, he loves different, but I thought this was the best book. This series makes you consider packing up your home, move to Denver, and look for some hot guys. Great job KA and Kate Rusell made you believe.
No. The main character just drove me crazy. How could she let him think she cheated. If she card so much, how could she let him walk out.
Their relationship in the beginning.
I am really Luke warm about this story. I've attempted to listen again, but find myself dreading the story. Also, the narrator wasn't terrible, but just not my favorite. She was kind of flat in my opinion, but the story was a little flat as well. Was this worth the credit? It wasn't painful, but I would seek out this author in the future.
Sweet, wild, and realistic.
I enjoyed Kate's performance. She is a pro.
Yes. The language in this book is stronger than I like, but still a good read.
I liked that this book had characters in their 40's and it showed. Especially the way Tess handled The ex in her bakery. It was mature, hot, and sweet at the same time. Kristen Ashley has a new fan in me.
I would rank this in my top 5. Jo has a such a good heart.
I laughed and cried. I wanted to kill Cam because he was so blind to Jo's feelings about Blair.
I am enjoying the development of James and Bianca's relationship.
Yes. It was intense in some areas.
Mitch, Mitch, and Mitch. I think I like him better than Hawk in Mystery Man. How can you not love a man that steps up to the plate like Mitch.
In this entire series, Elvira is still one of my favorite characters. She is just entertaining. I also love Billie. She seems adorable.
She has become one of my favorite narrators. She is truly amen actress and after experiencing a couple of "just ok" narrators, she is dynamic.
Yes. I have listened multiple times already.
Great stories with realistic characters and awesome love scenes.
The trip to meet the parents. I don't like giving too much away, but it was a great way to hang out with friends. Not all of it was good, but I enjoyed it.
The time they spend in the apartment watching the first movie.
Yes. I thought Olivia was being difficult for the sake of being difficult, but when I listened a second time, I changed my opinion. If more women made men work a little harder, we probably would be in better relationships. Yes, this is a fictional story, but you can still learn from the story.
I loved the change she experienced.
I loved Ellie, the roommate. She was sweet, but tough.
