Great love story, charachters well developed. Narrator is spot on and the romance is hot, Hot, HOT!

First of all, I loved the storyline and the seduction...but the problem resulting in the marriage was never resolved. Moreover that "problem" continued to be developed, throughout the text. It never came full circle, despite being given hints....and we were left hanging in the end...does this mean a sequel?

Perhaps the fact that exposing the political impotency of a world superpower (GB) makes people sit up and pay attention...however, the book was dark, depressing, and left the heroine helpless. If there is a secret, it's that this treatment of whole villages still goes on today in all corners of the world, where natural resources are extracted at the cost of human life.

Each of the Hell's 8 men have different backgrounds and thus different ways that they approach their woman romantically. Given Tracker's heritage and the verbal abuse suffered at the hands of his father, I could appreciate the careful development of his relationship in an attempt to spare himself heartbreak. And I would not be so quick to assume "the bad guy" is actually out of the picture. As with all Sarah's books....I wish this one was longer....I'll be reading this one again and Caine's Reckoning too while waiting for book 5!

Loved the book! Listened to it twice. The best of the three, plot, narrator, and romance wise. But all are worth the credit. I wish Sara's other novel series were on audible...hot, hot, hot!
Sam's Creed was a bit hard to listen to at first, (male reader that seemed to be orating for the first time in his life), but the story line was wonderful and kept me listening. Tuckers Claim was excellant also..I love the Historical Western romances....I want to be Hell's Eight too!

More please! Hell's 8 series is sensual! While the narrator took a bit getting used to...sentences didn't flow all that nicely. The story line was absorbing and the characters were colorful. I wish there was more by this author. She has a Promises, series that has won awards, and I don't understand why they are not featured here.
