Unfortunately, for me, this book disappointed in every way. The plot was a cliched love story that stumbled around to an unrealistic happy Hollywood ending, the characters were either shallow or exagerrated caricatures, the language felt inappropriately contemporary which questioned the historical worth of the book, the animals were embarrassingly anthropomorphized and the narrators were extremely annoying (particularly Jacob's).
I hope for better luck next time.
Complete garbage. Unbelivable plot and one dimensional characters. The one star rating is for the hilariously idiotic accents of the narrator - particularly the seven year old English school girl. A wasted credit.
Enjoyable and very funny
A great and captivating story read expertly by Dean Robertson
Great story still relevant today. Superbly read by Anthony Heald
Gripping story read masterfully (as usual) by Frank Muller.
Very enjoyable and well narrated
The identity of the murderer was unbelievable. The plot was silly and the narrator's attempts at mens' voices was embarrasing.
Overall, a wasted credit point.
Great story wonderfully read
Wonderful story read beautifully by the author. One of Audible's best.
This book was very well read by David Colacci and started out well but the plot seemed to ramble all over the place. Overall, quite enjoyable but too long.
