This story starts off slow and then captivates you with moral twists and turns. You really get a feel for the perscuted Christians in China.
Alcorn does a great job of weaving in truths and apologetic and chinese Chistian proverbs.
My favorite proverb in the the book is: " Real gold fears no fire."
Set back and step into the lives of to college friends that impact each other in very different ways and differently at various seasons of their lives.
"A Date with Dad and other Calamites"
Adventures and Odyssey is a great way to learn more and have fun doing it. This great for all ages my 6th grade class loves to hear them over and over again. Happy listening
"Lord Foulgrin's letters"
This a modern day Screwtape letters. Randy Alcorn has done a brillant job. But it doesn't stop here, You must read the Ishbane Conspiracy next , it's the follow to this story and the story continues. Great truths and powerful application make this a great read/ listening.
