I am a veteran of audiobooks on meditation and spiritual matters but this teaching was a game changer for me. It does require attention and time for the meditation practices but don't let that discourage you. Also, don't feel like you have to be a master meditator either though I recommend you have at least some meditation experience.
I was skeptical that I would have time to fit the practices into my busy life but I thought I could at least listen to the lectures. After listening for awhile, I was very drawn to the teachings and made the meditation practices my priority. The meditations and lessons deeply changed me and I am grateful I came across this audiobook.
Words cannot express the difference this course can make in your life, I highly recommend you give it a try.
I've only felt compelled to write a review about an Audible book a few times since joining and this is one of those occasions. If you put the lessons in this audio into practice you will improve your life. I saw improvement in my work right away. I was dealing with boredom when the time seemed to drag on forever and I couldn't get motivated. His mindful advice to do things with deliberateness, concentration, and slowness made the former "busy work" enjoyable and a way to train my brain at the same time. This is definitely the kind of recording you listen to again and again.
The information contained in the series, especially about prayer, ancient texts, and the powerful ways we can apply this information in our daily lives.
Great narration by Gregg, his enthusiasm is contagious.
