"What a riot!"
I was laughing out loud! Make sure you get this one. Whitty, clean, super fun. Most fun I have had on Audible, for sure.
"Hurry Up"
Don't even hesitate, this is one of the greatest books of all time. It will actually make you more intelligent and better looking if you listen to it. Superb story, great narration.... scary, indearing, hopeful.
"WOW"
Wish I had this book when I did a report on Jimi in the 7th grade (19 years ago). Feels like I got to know him. Get it, you'll love it.
"Not a novel"
You gotta love Einstein.... I listened out of repspect for a man who has given us so much. Interesting book, better if you read along while listening. Could have summed this one up in a 1/4 of the book. Fell asleep a few times.
"Give the narrator a glass of water"
Come on with this guy! Was he whispering, hoarse, or in terrible need of a glass of water? I tried slowing it down, speeding it up, listening through headphones underwater, broadcasting it through a bull horn. Nothing made this guys voice work for me! Mr.Intensity made it hard to get to the meat of a great version of the New Testament.
"Stick with it."
I loved this book, it changed my mind about what is "boring". I'm begining to see the value, and joy of exercising my brain. I wouldn't have "gotten it" in small chunks. Listen to the whole thing in 1 or 2 sittings to get the most out of it. The references to other literary work opened some doors I didn't know needed to be opened, for me. I'm glad I got this book.
"Get it"
One of the only audiobooks with cycling content in the Audible library. The unabridged is the best way to go with this one, has more personality than abridged, I have both. I am a cycling geek, so I wanted a little more about the sport, but it seemed to scratch the itch. I went for a long, hard ride every time I was done listening to it. Ride on, brothers and sisters!
