Is there anything you would change about this book?

I picked this up after reading Inside Delta Force, which was excellent, and the detail seemed to be missing in this one that was so rich in Inside Delta Force.

Would you recommend No Easy Day to your friends? Why or why not?

It is interesting to read about how they got Bin Lauden although most people already know most of the detail I think. The author talks about how he left out many details that are still Secret although I understand they still got into trouble for what he did tell.

What about Holter Graham’s performance did you like?

    Very good performance.

Could you see No Easy Day being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

    No opinion about this

    Any additional comments?

This is a good book overall but I don't think it approaches the high ratings it has been given.

Where does Dead Six rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I had to check because I was convinced several actors were narrating this book. Amazingly good! Worth the price of admission in the first chapter.

Would you be willing to try another book from Larry Correia and Mike Kupari ? Why or why not?

I got the next one in the series!

Have you listened to any of Bronson Pinchot’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

We were blown away. This guy is amazing. I really didn't believe one person was doing the narration.

  • Nothing Like It in the World: The Men Who Built the Transcontinental Railroad 1863-1869

Nothing Like It in the World is the story of the men who built the transcontinental railroad. In Ambrose's hands, this enterprise comes to life. The U.S. government pitted two companies - the Union Pacific and the Central Pacific railroads - against each other in a race for funding, encouraging speed over caution. As its peak the work force approached the size of Civil War armies, with as many as 15,000 workers on each line. The surveyors, the men who picked the route, lived off buffalo, deer, and antelope.

Would you consider the audio edition of Nothing Like It in the World to be better than the print version?

I first read the print version a few years ago and loved it. I have been thinking about the story and got the audible version to hear it again.

What other book might you compare Nothing Like It in the World to and why?

Stephen Ambrose had a knack for telling history in a interesting way. His Undaunted Courage is also one of my favorites. So too Band of Brothers. Blue Yonder not so good.

Have you listened to any of Jeffrey DeMunn’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I don't think I've heard this reader before. It was a good performance but there were times I noticed wrong inflections that didn't coincide with the intended meaning.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Nothing Like It In The World
