On a rainy Southern night, Jade Sperry endured a young woman's worst nightmare at the hands of three local hell-raisers. Robbed of her youthful ideals and at the center of scandal and tragedy, Jade ran as far and as fast as she could. But she never forgot the sleepy "company town" where every man, woman, and child was dependent on one wealthy family.

    "Great build-up"
    Overall

I was engrossed in this novel. It had me from the beginning. I do say the reader was a little off on the voices of female characters but I got through it. If you have ever lived in a small town you can relate to the story.

A teen idol at 15, an international icon and founder of the Brat Pack at 20, and one of Hollywood's top stars to this day, Rob Lowe chronicles his experiences. Never mean-spirited or salacious, Lowe delivers unexpected glimpses into his successes, disappointments, relationships, and one-of-a-kind encounters with people who shaped our world over the last 25 years. These stories are as entertaining as they are unforgettable.

Dan Brown has become one of my favorite authors. He really has a eye for details we pass by everyday and never give it a second glance.

This novel takes you in many directions. There are many supernatural beings that need exploring. Setting true to my tastes of exploration into the unknown. Discovering for the first time like a new found species of fish. The supers are every where. Move over and make room.

    "Living Dead in Dallas"
    Overall

This book travels around a lot and gets the characters out and about to peek our interest of other vamp areas. While Sookie is working for the vamps she no longer worries about humans as she never felt human anyway. They are accepting her as one of thier own.
