Winner of the Quill Award and the Corine International Book Prize, Diana Gabaldon is the #1 New York Times best-selling author of the Outlander series. This fourth novel featuring popular character Lord John Grey is told both from Lord Grey’s perspective and from that of Jamie Fraser, the star of the Outlander series.

Would you try another book from Diana Gabaldon and/or Jeff Woodman and Rick Holmes ?

only if davinia porter was hired to narrate. ms porter is jamie fazier and claire beachamp

What could Diana Gabaldon have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

to recast jamie frazier with such a feminine voice jolts the listener, and the new john gray is hard to reconcile with that of the other sequels.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jeff Woodman and Rick Holmes ?

    DAVINIA PORTER

What character would you cut from The Scottish Prisoner?

I would not record the audible book without davinia porter

    Any additional comments?

what were they thinking? the listeners have listen to over 100's of hours marrying the voices with the characters of her previous books, this marriage didn't work.

Acclaimed novelist Yu Hua became the first Chinese author to win the distinguished James Joyce Foundation Award. Controversial in his own country for his biting satire, he creates insightful portraits of Chinese society. Step-brothers Baldy Li and Song Gang couldn't be more different. While Baldy is a girl-chasing teen, Song is quiet and studious. The two come of age in a vibrant Chinese culture struggling with constant change.
