Like the stories of Lucy Diamond. Took a bit of time to get into this one. I'm not keen on the narrator of this book. Sound too harsh to be believable.

And neither of them knows they're going to change the other for all time.

One of the best, maybe even the best, listen since I started listening to audiobooks. Great narrating, you believe the voices. Usually I'm not to fond of several voices in a title, but it suits this story! Definitely recommended!

With only a prayer, his Highlander heart, and a bit of bloodied plaid to cling to, Findley will crawl through hell if he must, in order to find Maggy and her sons and avenge the massacre before him.

Because of the narrating voice that didn't immediately 'speak' to me and I didn't like the way he performed the female voices it took a while to get into the story! The story though is really good and makes you want to keep on listening for hours in a row.

Daughter of a cold, controlling mother and an anonymous donor, studious, obedient Elizabeth finally let loose one night, drinking too much at a nightclub and allowing a strange man’s seductive Russian accent to lure her to a house on Lake Shore Drive. The events that followed changed her life forever. Twelve years later, the woman now known as Abigail Lowery lives alone on the outskirts of a small town in the Ozarks. A freelance programmer, she works at home designing sophisticated security systems.

Real good storyline, you want to know what happenes next and if they're going to be able to 'pull it off'. As mentioned above, it took me quite long before the narrating voice did what it should do for me.
