Laurel McBane has always relied on her friends for support, especially when her dream of attending culinary school was almost ruined by her parents’ financial problems. Now Laurel is repaying the kindness of her friends by creating extravagantly luscious tiers of cakes and other confectionary delights that add the perfect touch to their clients’ weddings.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No; didn't finish. Just as mediocre as #1 & #2

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

    Didn't get that far!

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Narrator was better than for 1st book

Since she was a little girl, Emma Grant has always loved romance. So it's really no surprise that she has found her calling as a wedding florist. She couldn't ask for a better job. And on the surface, Emma's love life seems to be thriving. Though men swarm around her, she still hasn't found Mr. Right. The last place she's looking is right under her nose. But that's just where Jack Cooke is.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

NO; not what I expected from Ms Roberts. Not up to her usual heights. I actually had to make myself finish; kept waiting for the drama.

Would you recommend Bed of Roses to your friends? Why or why not?

No; and I have always been a Nora Roberts fan. I read the 1st book in this series and hoped this one would be better; it was, marginally.

What three words best describe Angela Dawe’s performance?

    Uninspiring; and slightly annoying.

Do you think Bed of Roses needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

    I started to read the followup (book 3) hoping for a change up - I didn't get it. Unfortunately I purchased books 1 - 3... I won't be purchasing #4.

    Any additional comments?

Disappointed in Ms Roberts after her previous trilogies and novels. I kept waiting for the drama, the suspense, excitement, etc, etc....

The women at Vows - a wedding planning company in Connecticut - make it their business to create memorable events for couples sealing their bonds. And though the bonds among Parker, Emma, Mac, and Laurel may not be official, they are very real - and equally worthy of celebration.

What would have made Vision in White better?

    More suspense, excitement, mystery...

What could Nora Roberts have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I have been a Nora Roberts fan for years. This was the most hohum book I have ever read.

Would you be willing to try another one of Emily Durante’s performances?

    NO!!!

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Vision in White?

None; why make it duller than it already is.

    Any additional comments?

After such trilogies as 3 Sister Island; Boonesboro Inn, The Hollow, The Keys, etc.....
I am thuroughly disappointed in this set.
