"Of all of my novels, After the Night remains one of my personal favorites – and Faith Devlin and Gray Rouillard are two of my favorite characters. Faith is strong, proud, and fearless, and Gray – well, he’s just downright sexy. Faith’s search for the truth about the devastating scandal surrounding her mother and Gray’s father blazes with intrigue. Add some sultry Southern hear, and you’ve got a real scorcher of a listen." What a great story and wonderful narration!
My first novel by Linda Howard and definitely not my last! Completely captivating, emotionally charged and heart wrenching from the 'get-go'. I loved Faith and Gray and lost myself completely in their drama. My only complaint, if I had one, would be that I wanted that final love scene! After everything they'd been through, I simply wanted more...

HUGE fan of Ms Roberts work, and I adored listening to this wonderful narrator, Fiarce Douglas, who brought the story to life. Tis an old favorite this trilogy, as wild and winsome, as human and indelible as the scenery, the land, and the people of the Emerald Isle.
As ever, I was captivated from the first words to the last... Thank you ;)

"Gideon Cross came into my life like lightning in the darkness… He was beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I’d never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily…Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. And we would become the mirrors that reflected each other’s most private wounds…and desires."

What made the experience of listening to Wicked Ties the most enjoyable?

Shayla Black's books are always a treat to open and escape into and the Wicked Lovers series is a personal favorite. Wicked Ties is not only the first in this series but the one that started me on a journey of discovery perusing Ms Black's works. The writing is tight, brilliantly executed, knowledgeable and beautifully crafted. Her characters are smart, sublime, human, emotional, real and wonderfully memorable. I'm a huge fan!

Where does Secrets of a Summer Night rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

With the most marvelous Rosalyn Landor narrating the fabulous Wallflower series, these audible books are sublime! Lisa Keyplas writes with a passion and conveyed me to another time and place as I sewed and listened to the story unfold. Such a wonderful tale that ended too soon, but thankfully continues with the next book in the series. Thank you LK, Simply magic...

Performed with consummate drama and flair and by narrator Caroline Lee.

    "'Magic and mayhem abound'"
    Overall

This would have to be my favorite trilogy from the most marvelous Nora Roberts, told with dramatic depth and passion by Dick Hill. Brilliant, simply brilliant!
Irish legend and magic roar with uncompromising fervor from centuries past to modern day, where the heroes and villains must inevitably face-off in the final chapters.

This character driven tale took on a life of it's own right from the start and I thoroughly enjoyed, and was captivated by each and every word!
Marvelous story Nora! Your creative genius, attention to detail, wonderfully woven plot and dramatic incline to the awe-inspiring conclusion was nothing short of devastating! I was a 'wet noodle' by the end, happy to curl in contented bliss after such a wondrous ride...

    Overall

I grew up reading Stephen King. A smuggled book hidden under the covers at night, flashlight often winking out at the worst possible moment...his novels filled a young girls head with morbid but insatiable fascination. On the mornings following a 'King fix', I couldn't wait to dress and get outside, yet his words haunted me and followed me unrelenting into the daylight hours.
God I love that man and his 'scare the shit' out of you tales!
'It' put me off clowns forever! Devilishly creepy and dark, murder, mystery and ancient evil, heroes that must eventually win the day or else! One of the master's BEST and most memorable works.
A fabulous, artful narration by the wickedly talented Steven Weber, -thanks Steven, now my horror has a voice as well!

Barons and MacKayla are finally brought to their knees with the overwhelming depth of their feelings and passion for one another.
All is revealed, yet the drama and mystery builds to combustion level before the final curtain...
Absolutely fabulous dramatic narration and interpretation, by the most talented and gifted artists, Natalie Ross and Phil Gigante! Winning combination! They put you in the moment and shattered you or captivated, making the tale come alive from start to finish!
Brilliant work Karen. Completely and wonderfully different from your Highlander series and far more satisfying!
