I never thought a book written in 2003 about the dash to Baghdad could be so damn riveting. No matter what type of military books you read, this one is a stunner. Starts off a bit slow, but by the time it was over I was so enthralled!

If you hate Israel, then dont bother commenting or reading this book or review. But if you love Israel, youll find this book another amazing account of how the hand of God is on the nation and its protectorate. Detailed and truthful; admitting lapses of intelligence when they happen.

Much like "America's Secret War", the title does no justice to the content. This book is captivating in the author's strongly founded opinions on the direction of global affairs and how in fact the presidency matters only in so much in how the president responds to current issues (and the impact they will have on the next decade.) Very good read.

I would hate to have Israel against us. I think they are the only super power in the world, as long as the liberals in the Knessett dont de-ball the military as in our country.

This book must be the most emotionally inspiring book Ive ever read. I have never served, but I felt as if I was in SSGT Bellavia's boots as he was fighting hand to hand. The story is amazing, this man is amazing, there is no reason you should not buy this book. It is plain factual first hand observations of the terrifying fighting in Fallujah.

I asked my grandparents (grandfather served in WWII) if they remember anything about these events. They do not. The story is thrilling and exciting, the information very palatable, and the impact on your knowledge of WWII history undeniable.

This is the third book Ive read that describes the events of Takur Gar. This book has the most details, but the story is choppy and the narrator was nearly monotone throughout. Very good details however and if youre interested in the events of this day its a good addition.

a very worthwhile book. The stories are top notch, enlightening, and scratch my patriotic itch. Absolutely worth it, I promise. A bit of cursing, but nowhere near as much as some other lesser books.

Lets face it, most of us average public school prodigies need to be entertained to keep us focused. With books its as true as ever. The narrator (Wayne Sheppard) has a solid voice with just the right inflections in the right places. The information conveyed is very easy to grasp. My mind enjoys learning in themes, stories, and facts. This book is all that. Very worth the price.
