"One of the top books of all time"
    Overall

This book grabbed me. It is fascinating from beginning to end and I only wish we could have a second book to continue the story. Don't be put off by the material--boxing is not my favorite sport, but it does not detract from the story. I loved every minute of it and hated to have it end. Listen to or read this book!

Marion and Shiva Stone are twin brothers born of a secret union between a beautiful Indian nun and a brash British surgeon at a mission hospital in Addis Ababa. Orphaned by their mother's death in childbirth and their father's disappearance, bound together by a preternatural connection and a shared fascination with medicine, the twins come of age as Ethiopia hovers on the brink of revolution. Yet it will be love, not politics - their passion for the same woman - that will tear them apart.

I've never listened to a book quite like this. It kept me interested the whole time and I'd recommend it to anybody who likes something out of the mainstream.

The odd thing about Walter Schoen, German born but now running a butcher shop in Detroit, he's a dead ringer for Heinrich Himmler, head of the SS and the Gestapo. Honey Deal, Walter's American wife, doesn't know that Walter is a member of a spy ring and gives shelter to escaped German POWs. But she's tired of telling him jokes he doesn't understand; it's time for a divorce.

    "Up In Honey's Room"
    Overall

I've read all of Elmore Leonard's books, but this was a yawn. I had no feelings for any of the characters. Skip this one.
