This is the exact same story as Spooks Destiney so dont waste your credit. Otherwise it is as good as all the others.
Not as good as the others.I think the author ran out of ideas. I got tired of the book before it ended but listened to it anyway hoping it would make a come back. It didn't :(
An itty bitty story in an ocean of detail, which is sad if you're a fan of the other books as I am. The author had an outstanding story idea with the vampires but chose to put them in the background and drone on and on with details and space filling nothing,
The story has alot of twists and turns as well as giving you food for thought. It's fast paced and never dull. However the funny parts will catch you off guard so if you are listening with ear buds, folks around you will think you've lost your mind as you laugh uncontrollably. If you like the parakeets in the first book you will LOVE them in the second one!
Each book is good stand alone but is best as they string together for an unexpected end.
Sadly the narrator is terrible. She mispronounces SO many words, even common everyday words. When she speaks in the characters voices she speaks haltingly like a robot. There is long pauses in the oddest spots and she miss speaks alot. All of which the director, producer and editor should have caught and fixed. If I were the author I'd be very angry about how they butchered my book.
Quirky folks, funny happenings and animals with odd personalities make for a great time. I listened to this book straight through. As I write this I am downloading the next book because I just have to know what happens to them all next.
Bronson Pinchot is one of the best narrators I have ever heard and I have over 700 books in my library! A narrator can make or break a book and Mr. Pinchot has added his magic to an already good story.
I have never laughed so hard! The author tries for the bloody gross out, goes over the top and it ends up being corny and silly. Not to use too many spoilers but the crazy cannibal with the salt shaker, and the kids who says in tears, "I ate my friend and he tasted like chiken!" I almost wet myself !
This is the exact same story as Rage Of The Fallen so dont waste a credit.
If you are looking for an unusual story outside the norm then this is it. Enjoy!
